Personally, for storyline duration, it’s too quick for them to have a father and son when he just literally knew that his son is still alive.

Actually before it even airs, I already felt that BR is quite off lol. Now we see him, this just proves the point. Everyone in some way meet the monster and is fuelled by them to get justice served, but BR... “He is a passionate cop who is willing to help people. Etc.” Something seems off lol

No monsters affected him when he was young....
