It seems RH built an illusion of a fake Arbiter Hall and a Thousand Dreamland in the small koi pond at his palace that’s was like a kaleidoscope. RH tells DFQC that he will get locked up if he can't find the real Orchid image and that using magic in the hall of illusions would trap him, so DFQC uses his sword instead. DFQC does a cool toss the sword upward and then sails up to grab it and cut through the illusion in the air. The illusion cracks and crumbles. I have to say DFQC is really on par with RH in intelligence. I'm glad that he is not just power but with lots of smarts.

There is definitely a lot of attraction and swoony things being said. This is a feel good forbidden love story, so the leads took a while to be together, but it is all worth it.

It has been mentioned a few times throughout the show DFQC possess an immortal body. Only 3 characters in the entirety of the drama was mentioned to possess an immortal body: Taisui, Chidi and DFQC. Taisui was able to live on for a hundred thousand years despite not having a physical body. Chidi was able to reincarnate over and over for 30 thousand years. DFQC also obtained glaze fire in the end which actually revived him from Taisui. All along we are shown that if you have the primordial spirit (even a small bit of it), there is a chance to bring the person back to life. DFQC being able to seal away a part of his soul into his own bone orchid and being able to come back with the help of Goddess of Xishan, who has the power of resurrection, doesn’t sound too far fetched to me. She seems to have found a way by suspending his bone orchid like a moon in her healing garden under two flower wreaths. There are healing powers being drawn from the flowers to the bone orchid.
DFQC is back = immortal body + glaze fire + primordial spirit (bone orchid) + goddess of resurrection

There is a love triangle, but 2nd ML is likable from beginning to end. Both MLs are very confident.
