Found this Kdrama from funny video clips on social media recently, thus I looked it up as it was LDW, whom I was following, after the lousy Touch My Heart. This is probably LDW's excellent acting best, which showed his ability and range, compared to all his other dramas. He shoot up to No. 1 on my list of leading men (he he). But the real GEM of this Kdrama is the lead actress – LSY, simply superb characterization, loved her both in comedic and dramatic scenes. The 2nd leads are wonderful, too! Love them!!

So disappointed with the ending, what a waste of time, it's JJH who saved this KDrama.

Good well balanced review. The rating for this drama is high for all the cons you pointed out, rightly so. And spot on with Suzy Bae’s acting, if you would call it that, you’re right it’s more acting cutesy, Lee Min Ho style, though LMH is wayyyy better looking, so no acting needed! A ha ha! LJS characterization had become “typecasted” too, in almost all his series, same mold, same techniques, nothing new, nor different!

I watch this drama thanks to your review. Indeed it’s surprisingly good, no, superb, unique and unexpected! Absolutely enjoyable all throughout, no irritating in-laws and such, just some usual “mild” tropes, but overall, entertaining. What a good drama should be.

Surprisingly good, under-rated drama! Should have watched this sometime ago, rather than those cringe-y series! Acting & characterizations of main leads are superb! Highly entertaining all throughout, had to pace my binge watching to last at least 3 days! That good. Well done.

I don’t understand why some reviews have this drama a high rating of 10, when they “dropped” it anyway? Means over-rated, right? Overhyped, too. As in. I cannot.

It’s okay to vent about how psychotic the FL is, but what’s even more psychotic is how the the ML just put up with it! Arrrrrghhhh! Agree on all your points, dropped this overhyped, over rated drama after 3 episodes. I cannot.

Love this review as always. So spot on with describing LMH “acting” or severe lack of it, as always! You are so right, after watching one LMH series, you need to withdraw from seeing his face again for some time else you would literally puke! Cheers!

Just watch this series this year, so apologies for the only recent reaction. I totally agree with your critique "I feel the other characters were just a touch too much. I wanted to see them less and less, and see more and more of the moments between the main couple." The scenes of the support lead lady and the fathers are too much, kinda useless to the story! There goes the KDrama trope at work.

Agree with you on all points: over-rated, cringeful girl-lead. Why oh why they choose her?!? I thought, it’s just me, but the romance is downright creepy, no pun intended.

Thank goodness for your review, I saved myself 3 days of binge watching this colossal disappointment of a series. And I share exactly your sentiments, even BEFORE watching this crap of a program. Indeed a global COMMERCIAL success (read: all those blatant endorsements and regimens as I thought so from the trailers), and in fairness, brought LMH further up in the popularity of the planet! Unfortunately, LMH has NOT evolved in his acting at all. However, his "acting style" or whatever they call his so-called talent, has elevated into another level of extreme narcissism, the production is more concerned about his hair and make up than his real acting prowess! It's just another BOF & The Heirs character all over again. OMG. Anyway, thanks a lot for voicing my thoughts. Word for word. Bravo!
