The heavy filter used almost, just almost, blurred how odd these episodes have been. Why am I still watching? 😆😫😫

The short episodes are not enough for us to be given such a solemn drama. Someone said 15 mins felt like an hour and I completely agree. I wanted it to end.

I’m not disappointed but I’m not content either. It started so well, but then had some odd edits/cuts, and of course rushed ending.

Let’s talk about the ending. First off, it was very out of character for Xiao Dou to just attack the carriage like that without properly confirming the passengers. It was way too easy for them to escape. The tyrant deserved less than his ending. Finally, THAT’S IT?!!! 36 episodes and we get a dash towards the door?!!! SOMEBODY SEND HELP BECAUSE I’M ABOUT TO BURN EVERYTHING DOWN.

I’m a huge ho - I mean, fan of Hai Yi in a skimpy top. You lasting 5 seconds before jumping him in bed makes me look like a saint. He wouldn’t last, periodt.

My take on this is.. they did not do justice for some of the great characters such as Qin Kai, Yun Lang and Chen Mo.

Instead of focusing on dumb plots and copying+paste from Forever Love, they should’ve either taken out the pointless love triangle or make it more believable. Second lead was introduced as a great character for amazing development and suddenly, he was done. His story side tracked and he was never even there enough to develop as a love interest. Qin Kai's character was so much more interesting than the main lead.

Yun Lang and Chen Mo- our subtle BL couple. Suddenly, they appeared and became part of the main squad with dialogues here and there but again, no real development! Their story was so interesting and cute but just jabbed here and there without real content. Ugh! It was beyond frustrating.
