I judge a drama as to how good it is if I can watch it again. This drama I will never watch again because I didn't like all the attention given to the cheating couple for the greater majority of this drama.

Lee Soo Hyuk's character is the one that got on my nerves the most. He didn't respect anyone, it was all about him and what he wanted--even in his treatment of IR. I thought the interaction between the leads was so unrealistic. I do believe in real life, a husband would have probably killed Carpenter Kim with his constant in your face and disrespectful actions. I disliked him and IR with a passion. The writer spent so much time on their romance that I disliked them.

The husband forgave his cheating wife who I believed slept with the Carpenter on their little road trip. The wife came to her senses when she thought HT was dead. She also realized she didn't plan on having any real relationship with the Carpenter--he was just a play thing. Something for her to relive her youth and answer her "what would it be like" type questions. The Carpenter, did something stupid as trying to kidnap her for a second time. This time he was almost in an accident--IR was truly frighten. Well that's my take anyway. I didn't care for the cheating couple. I never understood why IR was upset with her husband when it was her own selfish actions that caused all the heartache in her life. I did not want the husband to take her back because I'm not convinced she won't cheat on him again in the future.

If that's what you got from the drama, then you're not watching Valid Love. Her husband is very supportive.

As strange as this may seem, she's not the main character. HT is, but it doesn't seem like it.

No. Instead KJ overstepped his boundaries in so many ways. I would have beaten him to a pulp.

I agree with you 100%!!! That whole scene in the truck was typical KJ. I think IR, with the thought that HT may be dead, is realizing what she's done to the man she married.

She does have a sexual affair. That was represented when the shoes were moved inside the room with then and placed where Joon's bed had been. They both say, they only wanted to hold hands, which implies they did more than hold hands.

If you liked Temptation, you may like this drama. I hated Temptation, so I'm not a fan of this drama.

Well, I'm watching this drama not for a particular actor but the storyline and this drama is ridiculous. KJ's (Lee Soo Hyuk) seems to have some type of social problem. He doesn't know what is and isn't proper behavior. He boldly going after a married woman in the face of her husband was disgusting to me. IR is in real need of psychological help. HT, the husband, is a good man who has the misfortune to be married to a woman who doesn't live in reality. The bad thing, is if IR and KJ end up together, the way the writer has made IR's character she will cheat on KJ some years later.

I couldn't agree more, but I dislike IR the most. She chose to take care of HS and she's doing the same thing with the MIL--something her husband has asked her not to do, but she ignores him. Instead she has this self righteous attitude and act as if she's angry with him when she's the one who did wrong. I hate seeing her in scenes--I want to fast forward. Everything out of her mouth is a lie.

Nice article, but I have to say, I find this drama as nothing but contradictions. I'm not sure if the writer intended for it to be this way, but it is and some of the situations are very unrealistic. The very first episode from when IR bumps into HT and makes him fall and the entire conversation they had while they waited for the all clear signal at the café, depicts IR's character for the entire drama. Now at episode 16, the only person I feel for is HT. He is a much better man than most men.

If you can call it valid love, only knowing someone for 2 months or so, than be it. However, that type of loves usually doesn't last. The writer will make this story go however they want it, but IR at this point makes absolutely no sense. I have no clue what she's talking about half the time. I can't believe HT put up with IR for 7 long years. Someone who is logical having to deal with someone illogical must be very trying at times.

KJ was too much in their business. He was a constantly there, reminding HT that his wife cheated on him. When he had the surprised lunch, he was way out of line. Then again, he was only following IR who did the same thing. She brought KJ into their marriage. If KJ doesn't understand that going after another man's wife is wrong, then he's stupid. He can't be that clueless at 30 years of age.

And yet, we have HT asking her to sit while he ate (she had already eaten with KJ) and they talked. She told HT he was like a rare pearl. The fact that he wanted her to sit with him while he ate shows that was something they did all the time.

I'm definitely not watching it for him, but I can't understand her or this entire episode (14).

The fact that she had such strong feelings for KJ after a week of knowing him and got jealous when she heard the rumor that he had a girlfriend. Not knowing that the rumor was about her. Then got into a fight with her friend over KJ. Sorry, she can't have much feelings for HT when she's behaving like this for a man she'd only known for 4 days when she kissed him. However, all this craziness is due to the writer.

Well she was locking lips with a guy she only knew for 4 days. So running off with him doesn't seem too far fetched. I'm frustrated when her saying he hurt her? What is she referring to? She thinks he was cheating with his first love? She talks in such crazy riddles at times, who knows.

I stopped being fine with IR's character when she started cheating with a man she had only known for 4 days. She would dress nice for him, when was the last time she dressed up for her husband. As for KJ, I just want to skip through every scene with him in it. He is so extremely annoying. He's not even a boyfriend and he was all in their business when they were trying to decided to divorce or not.

I agree completely. KJ was always too much for me, but the last episode was over the top. IR was no better. How do you ask a man that you have only known for a couple of months, if that, to stay for a private discussion of your ex-husband asking why she didn't tell him about not wanting a baby because of HS. Sorry, I know he slapped her when he found out she was cheating, but I want to know how he hurt her. Unless she's going back to when he left her in the hospital years ago.
