It's great but after first half their will be lot of politics but it won't bore you . And ML'S have great communication which saves us from unnecessary misunderstanding.
I won't say that it's very great etc . The idea was great , story way intresting & moving , acting way also acceptable. But it's the kind of show you shouldn't miss out on.

all she knew about his father was his half name 'Heng' , remember she used to called him uncle Heng & she wasn't aware of his death too . So when she met Ziqi s he obviously couldn't think that he could be the boy she is looking for . And it you noticed then Uncle only told her that he has a son he never told his name to her & he himself in his teenage didn't told her his name.

Well she is playing centuries old fox spirit & ML is a human in his 20s , so its just perfect . After all she needs to show her mature side.
If it would have been a young actress I don't think she would be perfect for the roll, In the end it would've looked like some low budget drama with pretty actors only.
