Thank you for sharing this :) Just saw it on tweeter (X) and was astonished by his writing capacities too! He is such a surprising gem. I'm from Europe, and besides some interview drop outs, none actors bids such farewell to their character portraiting - so I found those farewell letters all very touching and as an interesting tradition. It's respectull and liberating as for the actors, crew etc , but also for audience and fans. Cheng Yi 's letter looks so simply written, but is quite deep: " I know that there are too many interesting souls hidden under the silent appearance in this world, and I believe that the audience will always have more and better understanding than me". Loved it! :) 📝
