anyone can be a top or a bottom. looks dont matter. i seen many masculine, muscular bottoms that most would think…
Sorry to break it to you, but things ARE changing in the BL world, manga or not. The producers and even the writers are realizing this.
What happened is this: BL started with women as their target audience. But, somewhere along the way, gay men (me being one of them) found out about BL series and started watching them. Why? Because they were (and still are) about the only content that features/accepts gay relationships. BLs are now a staple of modern gay culture, and at least 50% of the online reactors of BL series are gay men (maybe more than that). Not to mention that a number of BL actors have come out as gay.
Even here on MDL, there are a lot of gay men posters. I don't know the exact percentage, but it's a substantial amount.
Just to be silly, while we await the next episode... as a longtime BL watcher, and as someone who only speaks a handful of Thai phrases and has visited the country (and LOVED it), I'm convinced that 50% of words in the Thai language rhyme with "Thai."
Not arguing, just discussing because it's an interesting and important topic. Sorn does have something that the audience doesn't have: the experience of actual sex with Jun (multiple times). Anyone knows whether or not intimacy is forced or consensual while actually doing it.
In Jun's case, it seems more BDSM than not consenting (as in "no, no, don't but I really want you to"). I don't get the feeling that Jun is exactly screaming and crying during the physical act(s).

So yes, the BL world is changing.
