So, since Korn just looks to be going along with this marriage to Lin thing, are we to assume that, even though he is in love with Win, that Korn is bisexual? How can a gay man just hop into a marriage with a woman, even reluctantly? I couldn't do it, not in a million years.
Or does Korn think that Lin would be okay with a sexless marriage? This part of the story has a "blecch" quality for me. But if Korn comes out as gay in the final episode, I will feel much better.
Right!?! This page makes it seem so awful and I really loved it we need more positivity for balance
If you go to their YouTube channel you'll get all the positivity you want. There's so much praise for the show you'd think it was the greatest thing since God landed.
I've noticed YT comments are always very positive to the point of being ridiculous. I never see negative comments.…
I think someone is deleting any negative comments. All I see there are glowing reviews of the series, and... sorry, but no series is loved THAT much by everybody.
Or you could have dropped it? Who was holding you hostage bro 🤣
I held myself hostage, lol. At first I kind of liked it so I stuck with it. After the halfway point it just got more and more ridiculous to me, but... since I had been watching for that long already (and being of the "carry it through to the finish" mindset), I watched through the finale.
Thank goodness this trainwreck is finally over! If I had to deal with Kuea's unappealing whining for one more episode I may have removed my own appendix with a knife and fork.
Kuea: "Lian, I have to tell you about my big secret. I have a music career." Lian: "I know, you're really good." Kuea: "But wait, there's more... I also like sports cars and motorbikes." Lian: "OMG! You like sports cars??? That's IT. The engagement is OFF!"
Now if that's not a premise for a series, I don't know what is... :(
You know, when this drama first came out MDL users treated Kuea like he needed leashed to a post in Lian's yard…
I'm hoping that the finale will have everyone admit that the idea of any arranged marriage is gross and disturbing. If Kuea and Lian go their separate ways, I will take back a lot of my criticism of this series. But I have a feeling they will end up together anyway...
He never told Lian about his major, being Kirin, making music, interest in sports cars and his motorbike. Sure…
Maybe.
Or, maybe Kuea has no sense of any of that and really does think his big secrets are dealbreakers. Let's face it, he doesn't really have a "fake side," he just hasn't disclosed all of his hobbies and interests. Neither has Lian, for that matter... it's no big deal among adults, unless your secret interest is kicking puppies or something.
I guess the final episodes will (hopefully) give us the answers we're looking for.
