I guess my problem is that I don't understand why either Shin Woo or Da On has any interest in TK. You can summarize…
I totally get the Taekyung attraction. He's cute and -- unlike most people -- says exactly what's on his mind. I find his candor refreshing, no passive-aggression here. Imagine having a partner who doesn't play games... that's Taekyung.
Serious question: is it really a thing in Thailand to where, even if you get a fairly small scratch or wound that someone else steps in to clean it up? Or is it just a BL trope that I've seen over and over and over?
"You have a cut! Here, I will clean it for you." Said no one in just about any other place, ever. Seriously, if I got a reasonably small cut in my finger, I'd be weirded out if someone grabbed my arm and insisted on taking care of it for me. Just no!
For really the first time, I liked My Boy, Ep 8 was good. There was actually a story happening, and I enjoyed it. My Boy just went up, in my estimation.
This has been around for a few weeks already and there are far more posts in this forum describing what has happened than the very small bit I wrote here. I don't think we need the Spoiler Police for this one.
Just started watching this tonight. Ep. 1 was good, there's a sweet quality to the whole thing (well, getting beaten up and robbed by thugs aside, lol). Looking forward to the rest!
So I guess we're supposed to to feel sorry for So Hee now.
Sorry, not so fast. Her apology to Daon and Taekyung was the least she could do. Yes, it's good that she had the sense for that. But I'm not feeling any empathy for her tears. Girl, you brought this on yourself because your actions really were THAT bad.
It looks like she and Namgoong are going to end up together, but I really wish they wouldn't. Namgoong is too good for So Hee, and she needs to grow up before she enters a relationship with anyone, let alone Namgoong.
As for Episode 8, I'll say this: given the choice, I would rather watch Gun over-emote with his crying scenes (as he did here) than watch his seemingly endless teeth-gritting when he has upset or angry.
I will write a review soon... tomorrow or the next day. (Busy at the moment.)
Agree about the hair, but not the creepy & wimpy. Sometimes "creepy" is a fig leaf for "unattractive". We don't…
When did James stand up to Tee? (I haven't yet seen Ep. 4.) If he did, that would definitely color my opinion.
I guess a more accurate statement is that I find James passive-aggressive (at least so far). And his "love affair" with Ait is... odd. Sure, Ait did the pursuing. But the dynamic of James -- being in the power position of director -- and Ait -- the young ingenue actor -- doesn't sit right with me. It would feel better if their relationship was simply flirting, until the filming project was completed.
Just my opinion. And yes, my statement about the hair still stands.
Thanks for your interesting viewpoints!I think Taekyung shows signs of autism, the way he responds to others.…
I'm thinking the writers/producers probably based the Taekyung character on an autistic person, without coming out and making it part of the storyline. They may not have wanted to cross that line, for fear of offending people with autism (as there are different types of autistic people)... I don't know.
I think Taekyung shows signs of autism, the way he responds to others. I also think he is cute and kind of charming and, at least for me, I find his candor refreshing. Taekyung says exactly what's on his mind, no secrets or playing games. So I can understand how that would attract someone.
Thank you so much. I really did not like this. It had taken me over two months to finish it, having repeatedly…
Thank you for your comments! I guess we're in the minority, as many viewers claim to have loved this series. For me, it was frustrating to watch and a big disappointment.

And puh-leeze gurl... your hair is thinning too much to wear it that long but, if you insist upon it, at least use some conditioner!
