Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but (I think) I remember, a loooong time ago that there was another actor that was cast as Porchay, but then they later announced that he wouldn't be doing it? Who was that? Was it Gameplay or am I very mistaken?
Squandered potential. While the cute, romantic stuff was nice, it couldn't make up for how disjointed the story feels. Every time the characters make a decision, it makes you ask: why? So many problems could have been avoided/solved in such simple ways, but the characters almost purposely take the hard way. It's cute, but don't expect too much.
He was borderline pervy in TharnType and he didn't do sh*t for me in Second Chance, but I'll be damned if I'm not madly in love with his character in KinnPorsche. What a talent! This role was made for him.
Can someone tell me if Porshe is bi, or expermenting? I thought Porshe was straight? I'm still confused whether…
I pretty much have the same questions and because they leaned into so much in ep 5 like they were *going* to give an answer, but didn't, because they were interrupted by the bad guys, I'm guessing (hoping) they'll bring more clarity to it in ep 6 or the coming episodes.
For now, I'll try to answer your questions based on my own assumptions and inferences. Is Porsche bi/experimenting? In BL, my rule of thumb is: assume everyone is bisexual unless otherwise said. It was shown to us that Porsche is interested in girls and that he has zero issues with Kinn being gay (ref: the lube/condoms scene). We don't know if he's straight, we just know he definitely likes girls.
"I'm still confused whether he had sex or got taken advantage because he wanted it, or because he knew Kinn was gay? If not, then was it because of the drug?" Ep 5 made it relatively clear that Porsche was taken advantage of because as he remembers it, he's clearly upset about it. He even almost vents about it with Pete. Then when he comes back and indirectly confronts Kinn about it saying he doesn't treat him well, Kinn changes the subject and basically says he "owns" Porsche, so he can do anything he wants at which point, Porsche dares him to do what he wants. Does Porsche dare him to do that because Porsche wants to take advantage of that time to beat his ass OR does he dare Kinn to do it because he actually wants sex again? We don't know because Kinn doesn't do anything, but based on how they were talking when Kinn visited Porsche and his friends at the end, I'm leaning toward "beat Kinn's ass"...even if he does also want sex too deep down. It's Kinn and Porsche after all. I feel like that's all they ever want to do most of the time anyway.
...mainly thinking about how vulnerable Kinn was when he asked Porsche that question in the sauna***If you were…
I think the show is showing that while Kinn is technically openly gay, he still feels insecure because, at that point, he didn't know if Porsche would be into him/guys in general or not.
