My interpretation / thoughts, might not be correct
Myung ha's grandma passed away, his girlfriend break up with him because he does not even love himself, he went to find his mother, who pretend not to know him and she already have another family. he choose death, and the "god" decide to give him a chance by looking at himself from another perspective (yeo woon is somewhat based on myung ha himself). the mission of making yeo woon happy is actually a cover, the real mission is for him to love himself.
however, as myung ha does not originally belong to this world, the server can no longer take all the changes made by myung ha, and thus the glitches. him being asking to pick between one of two (in my opinion) is the game wanting to clear some data to stabilize the server (such as some time computer overload and need to clear up some ram etc). he choose both, thus he will be deleted eventually instead.
after being given yet another chance, he is out of sync with yeo woon. think of it as computer restarting and need time to sync up and stabilize. when he eventually meet with yeo woon again, the aspect ratio changed to indicating this is now his "real world". so despite him dying in the real world, he is now having his new happy life in this new world (or afterlife if you want to call it)
Being a short film originally, cant really rate it with the same standard as a regular series. But i rarely watch short film so not sure how to rate it too

if rating drop, it will be much earlier. i dont recall any kbl that has a rating that keeps going up only to come down later on. most debut high and drop. a breeze of love debut with 8.5 and never went back up. a few show debut with 8.3 and does not return back to 8.3 either.

Not sure if true or not, but in one of the comments below, the person explain it as only people who knows him in his prior adult life will remember him. Thus his grandmother is confused when yeowoon come looking for myungha, because she herself did not know what happen to him too.
As for the boss, it seems like she is based on myungha's ex girlfriend and thus would remember him too.

It is not like he can date someone who is his original age too. He looks 19, so to an outsider it will be a 19 y/o dating a 29 y/o even if the one inside the 19 y/o body is a 29 y/o so it will be an issue too
