if he really want to keep jihyun away, getting together with the ex is going to affect jihyun more than with another random girl i think

The movie is just the series being cut down into two hours for release in south korea. That is where most of the spoilers for the plot come from. Since it cut down 10 eps x 40mins worth of materials into 2 hours, the pacing suffered and there are many things not explained so people who did watched the movie suggest just watching the series instead.

Not sure how true the memory loss rumor is, the person who i ask spoiler from did not mention it. But most likely is jaewon feel that people close to him always end up in danger, such as his brother's death and jihyun's near death. So ignoring him is his way of trying to keep him away so he would be safe from him. Speculation of course, since i dont have the full spoiler, nor had i seen people who did watched the movie elaborate on it.

The person i'm talking with say in the movie, jihyun is in coma and he is with his ex girl, but later get back with jihyun later on. Since the series is longer, this should be in between those two events

The film is just the series footage being cut into two hours so it should end the same way. I highly doubt they filmed different scenes specifically to be used for the film only.

Not sure how many could have same standard as the eighth sense, but if the new shows can have same standard as our dating sim or unintentional love story it would be win. I dont mind having some show being just okay, but hopefully it is not quantity over quality
