Thanks for your information and observations. I'm glad that the Thai actors can be free to accept all types of roles. Sorry to hear that the BL dramas are used by many actors as a stepping stone for career advancement and not respected by them. Although I can understand an actor's fear of being typecast, still I believe they should respect their own work and not be ashamed of it.

Thanks for your insights and information. I didn't realize that Sarawat was 1st time for BL role for Bright and he has done heterosexual roles in the past. I'm glad you say that the Thai entertainment industry does not pidgeonhole actors and allow them to take a variety of roles. (Although I wonder about the openly gay actors and actresses. I like the actor who plays Green in the Bright BL drama, but he always plays gay characters. I wonder if he has ever been offered a non-homosexual role.) I hope that Bright is a contender for the role. It will be interesting to see who ends up in the final cast.

2 interviews in English with ML Lawrence Wong. His real, actual voice in these interviews is very different from his voice in this drama. Are the actors dubbed for this drama? In real life he seems pretty easygoing personality. He has some interesting things to say about being a newcomer to Chinese entertainment industry. I didn't realize it, but he had a supporting role in Story of Yanxi Palace that seems to have been his big break.

Thanks for the info. I don't know how successful The Untamed was on Netflix. Netflix is trying to increase Chinese language programming because they are trying to attract Chinese speakers who live outside China , but I am not sure if they are still doing that or how successful they have been with that goal. I'm still hoping that they will liscense The Wolf.
