Currently watching Ep.3 and I have a question about a scene that is very disturbing for me. When Tien brings Muey home after she drank too much, she insists on sleeping in his room, but he says no and leaves her to sleep in the office or living room because her bedroom is locked. She asks why can't she sleep in his room since they are already married. Then the dialogue from DIMSUM:
Muey: " I want to know, if it's illegal for me to rape my own husband?
Cut to Muey on top of Tien on a bed, restraining him.
Tien: What are you doing?
Muey: I'll rape you.

What the heck?! This whole scene of essentially attempted sexual assault is just .. I have no words. My question is ...is the dialog an accurate translation? Muey actually feels it is OK to rape Tien? Even worse, this scene is played for comedy! Very distressing .
I thought this show was supposed to be rom com, cohabitation hijinks type of show. I don't know if I can continue to watch if these type of scenes are a big part of the drama. If anyone can clarify the dialog, thanks in advance.

Are you talking about Ep. 1? ....I check now....Yes, for Ep. 1 they have the scene that is missing in MGTV. Thanks for posting about it.

These subs are the exact same as the subs at MGTV, even including the same typos. I see no difference. They just ripped them from the Official YT.

The quality of the subtitles is mediocre. The subtitles are often clunky and do not flow well, have grammar errors, and can be confusing at times. However, I was able to understand the main points. It's better than no subs at all, but yes, there are problems.

Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated. I am reassured that the romance plotline is good and that the kiss scenes are real kisses and well done. I really can't watch the bad kiss scenes anymore where it is so awkward, or those fake kisses. Takes me right out of the story.
