No, they are investigaring who was with Da Eun in the warehouse and killed her. The detective spoke to her grandma and she gave a clue about being an older man that was arguing with her on the phone that night. Episode 13 will show more.

chief's son does nothing he just get scared that his dad will loose the job
Yeah, after 10 years he came back and felt remorseful. Then again he did not know Jeong Woo was living like that. For him its one thing protecting his dads job, but to put an innocent person away is a big no for him. He even killed himself so that his dad can take the right step, threatening him with Su-Oh meant nothing.
