The writers weren't people pleasers. They knew ratings would drop, they aren't stupid. They stayed true to themselves instead of trying to fit in or please the "shippers"

What they lost came around in another form. The cast reuniting to shoot another season gave them a sense of belonging. A confidence that whenever ratings dropped, there were people they could lean on. They celebrated their small wins. That's not a loss

Season 2 could have done better. There could have been different spirits each episode to keep us engaged. But if you scroll down, most of the negative reviews seem to be from the shippers. Things like, "I will drop if my ship doesn't sail" or "we want So Moon and Ha Na." I hope you're right that it's temporary

OP wasn't wrong or mistaken. Shippers expressed their opinions, and OP expressed theirs. That's not wrong. They didn't respond, because they have better things to do

It's unfair to rate season 2 low for a "romance" that would have been 0.1% of the story. New people will misjudge the worth of this season by its outward rating alone. They will assume it's not "good" enough to be well rated, when it's just not "good" enough for the shippers

The rating will discourage new people from watching season 2 for themselves

It's not as simple as "we shouldn't tell people not to rate something low." MDL removed ratings from the people who gave King The Bland 1 star. People had the right to be offended by King The Bland, right? It's their opinion. They had the right to post negative reviews, right? Apparently not. They didn't have the right to rate it low

Why should people have the right to rate The Uncanny Counter 2 low? For the sake of consistency, they shouldn't have that right

Ha Na and So Moon have the chemistry of toothpaste and wet bread. Once consumed, the taste will haunt you for a lifetime. That is to say, they have zero chemistry. The video shows they had some moments in season 1. But it was always So Moon who approached Ha Na and pressured her into "dating" him. He was creepy. At least he's not creepy in season 2. They are siblings now
