What can you tell me about "Stand or Fall"... Is it a drag before the leads get together? Is the plot or romance before dating any interesting? What parts should I skip..?
This one is different... they do not officially date at first. It is more like casual encounters as they develop feelings for each other. The female lead will put distance between them, and then just stay away since the male lead does not believe in commitment, but she will be the one to change his mind.
This one has a love triangle that may cause second lead syndrome to some people, and most of it happens while the main leads are not casually dating anymore.
This show has a very interesting plot about "Start Up" business! I dropped it the first time I tried watching this, but could not stop watching the second time!
The main lead is the girl, but the male lead becomes more and more important as the show goes on! This one has a heavy love triangle, with some misunderstandings here and there, but the female lead only ever loved the male lead in the present.
I do not know what it is about episodes number 14, but this one is the break up one, and is very heavy, since the girl decides to break the ML's heart so he can go away and accomplish his dreams...
I believe they get together on episode 15, but again, sorry about that, but I am not entirely sure.
However, I have to say, that this show has my second favorite happy ending ever!! You see the ending, and part of their future.
The show is awesome through and through, but for one episode where the main leads are broken up for something that is not even that important by then... I believe it happened on episode 14, and they get back together the next episode!
This one has a break up towards the end, but I personally liked that the events that caused the break up, the break up itself, and the events after happen in between episodes, and does not take that long before (for once) the female lead chases after the male lead until she finally gets him back! I do not remember the exact episode but I believe everything happens between episodes 13 and 15! Still, one of my favorite K-Dramas!
They were good together as friends. Actually, the ML met the FL before and was attracted but alas, he only saw…
Just finished "The Youth Memories" and wow!
It is by no means the best drama or best romance, but is one of the best productions I have ever watched in Dramaland!
The work realized by the whole team allows to travel to 1970 and go through their lives like you were there!
Like always, I have suggestions and recommendations of things that I would change, but this one is still a great production worth watching from beginning to end!
That being said, if I ever have to rewatch this one, I would watch episode 1, from episode 18 to 28, and then until the end skipping everything else but for the main couple interactions. However, for first timers, I hope they watch everything and enjoy the amazing work done with this production.

I made it to episode 20!
The first 10 episodes were a nice introduction to the characters and their lives. The male lead is a natural leader, and was able to turn enemies into the most loyal friends thanks to his code of honor, and his willingness to sacrifice himself for others!
The male lead first crush was the girl in the library (FL), which at first he confused with the SFL. Most of the problems in the first part are related to the SFL.
The Male lead starts "dating" the SFL after the SML decides that he wants to compete fairly for her. However, it takes a year of the ML walking near her like a puppy for them to finally start "dating". The SML finally decides to pull back after intruding every two seconds, but that was only words because even then he would be present around the SFL giving her things that the ML never could.
Some side stories are interesting, like the sister of SML and her engagement, or how one of the guys from the other crew protected the girl he loved, and married her.
The only episode that felt like a complete waste was episode 17.
I mentioned "dating" for the ML and SFL because even when this show is not the most romantic show, they said they liked each other, but from the moment she leaves him to go to the army everything went downhill, and they never were the same again.
overall, I will feel more satisfaction when things start to work out for the leads, and their lives turn to the better soon, since I saw all their pain and suffering until now, but you can do without the first 17 episodes.
The only recommendation from me, is that instead of starting on episode 20, I would start on episode 18! There is when all things start to move towards the second half of the show.
I loved watching this one with the comments on in Viki! I had more fun with the comments that the show itself! if you see a comment from "taino", that was me... 😊
Finished the first episode. It's a pitty, because it looks really cool. But the subtitles are so bad I feel Im…
I made it until just before the last episode, but I was still so lost that I will need to rewatch the whole thing once they have good enough subtitles...

I won't lie... I really want to just skip to episode 20, and start the main lead's romance, but I am on episode 5 now, and I am enjoying the drama for now. I am just not taking the girlfriend as serious, and more as a first experience.
I feel like the friend is pathetic, and will make a lot of mistakes towards the male lead, and he will most likely not retaliate because he will feel indebted for all that is happening with this girl.
I am controlling myself, and just told my brain that I won't see them together for now, but I can still enjoy the story and the character development.

Their chemistry was so good, that the male lead actor did not know how to act, and they were still good together; that's how good their chemistry was.
