I thought that "The Love by Hypnotic" had a break up? I know it has a super annoying love triangle, but I do not remember the details about the break up...
I know that Japanese dramas usually do not have a deep plot, but I still feel like nothing was really happening…
Now that I think about it... is not even the fact that he is basically obsessed with her; it is the way he acts, and I do not know if is the actor or the character, but I am sure that a character that was a bit more relaxed and natural would be better.
I know that Japanese dramas usually do not have a deep plot, but I still feel like nothing was really happening with this one. I appreciate the romance and intimacy between the leads.
I strongly believe that leads have a free pass for a lot of things, because they are meant to be together, but this guy is just too weird... still, easy to watch, so not bad I guess.
Unfortunately, this has become a common trope in many dramas... The love triangle involving a childhood friend…
Sorry... if I am commenting too much on this, but this episode has a perfect example about the female lead's reaction... This guy basically tells her that he likes her and is about to kiss her in Episode 8... if not for the male lead, it seems like he would've kissed her... like, for real..? Shouldn't she push the guy away or something...? That's what makes it worse in my opinion...
Why is it ok for the guy who isn't getting the girl (SL) to tell the guy who is (ML) that he needs to back off?…
I know this is to keep things going... but I am on episode 8 now, and something worse than the "intruder" interfering is the male lead actually following the guy's advice! That is the stupidest thing... why would you listen to the guy that wants to steal your girl...

Unfortunately, this has become a common trope in many dramas... The love triangle involving a childhood friend of sorts that has no chance with the female lead, but thinks of himself with all the rights on the girl, and even sees himself as her boyfriend in some sort of delusion sometimes.
I am not a fan of love triangles, but this kind of love triangle can become especially annoying if the female lead does not set boundaries soon enough.
I guess this trope can be just a distraction, a jealousy factor or something completely annoying depending on the female lead's actions.
The romance is good and light, but it can get frustrating at times... They make a connection as soon as they meet, and by episode 4 they like each other and treat each other at a more personal level, but then comes the frustrating part for me. The Male lead is a 30 year old "perfect guy" who has never dated before, but this is not new, however, the FL is a person with a lot of walls, and will pull away from him at every chance she can get, and even after they start dating she keeps doing that. Again, the romance is good and misunderstanding do not last, but the reason behind them, and considering that romance takes the backseat a lot on this drama, you may feel like all the waiting for something to actually happen may not be worth your time unless you get invested with the story or sync with the FL situation about a single mother fighting against the doubts of finding the right person even if she likes the guy.
Please allow me to be insensitive for a moment... I really dislike the older brother, he is a pain in the bottom...
How can you not be upset with this guy blocking his brother and holding him hostage... He is not yours! He is a person... I should stop my comments for a while in this one.. I'm getting upset..
It's Okay to Not Be Okay is listed here, but other than the comment on this list there is also...
He breaks up with her two seconds after they get together because of his brother... In episode 9, they go away on a small trip, and he finally decides to be with her which we can see through him bringing flowers and a kiss, but as soon as they return his brother makes another stupid drama, and our weak ML decides to break up with the FL telling her to get out of his life in Episode 10...
