After watching "The Double", I am ready to watch "The Story of Ming Lan"! A drama with no break ups and even better…
One of the best parts that I am looking forward too is not only the married couple without break up, but also, after only 10 episodes of watching the FL put her head down so many times for her family, I will enjoy a lot when she is head of her own family!
After watching "The Double", I am ready to watch "The Story of Ming Lan"! A drama with no break ups and even better with more than 30 episodes of the main couple not only together, but married! Is something I love and did not get since "Golden Bride". I did some research, and it seems like the main couple get married around episode 40, so I found it hard to get into at first, however, after watching "The Double" which has a slow burn romance and focuses a lot more in the action, revenge and plot instead of romance, even when romance is vital to the story, I think it peaked my interest in historical dramas and the stuff around their families and their way to success. I am ready to enjoy around 40 episodes of good story telling to then be rewarded with 30 episodes of a no break up marriage :).
Hola! I did my research on this show about the elements that I like and hate from dramas, and while I love romance…
Plus, waiting 40 episodes with a story that I hope will be engaging to get 30+ of a healthy marriage when most dramas end with the proposal or getting married, sounds very appealing.
Hola! I did my research on this show about the elements that I like and hate from dramas, and while I love romance but this requires a long wait for it to happen, it seems like it will be worth the wait.
Yu Rong finding out about the specific root and plan to fake the princess pregnancy makes no sense! There were no clues that would indicate that it ever happened, at least not from Yu Rong perspective since he has no influence in the palace...
I am only 5.5 episodes away from completing this one, and I can already say that this is masterpiece. My only regret is that since the plot is all about revenge and justice and will be left with wanting to see more as a couple from the main leads even when their chemistry have been amazing! I think I should watch "The Story of Ming Lan" to be able to watch married couple across some 30 episodes even if I have to wait for like 30 episodes for that to happen...
Hey JacquePaulus! I was curious about this one so I deeply appreciate your comment! I have been keeping some distance…
I am on episode 31 now, and while they are not officially together, their feelings, chemistry and flirting is obvious! I am looking forward for them being finally together even if is in the last episode!
Yes, maternal cousins. Historically, and even today, marrying first cousins is acceptable in some cultures.
I am not "imposing my own", I am showing my preference, and I prefer that cousin stay as family regardless of historical or cultural context, and I prefer if a guy that is not the male lead stays away from the girl..
