I’m looking forward to this! Will be interesting since it’s an adaptation of Cherry Magic (Japanese BL). But I know P’Tay and New Will knock it out of the park.
健太郎先輩!Long time no see. I just saw him in &Team’s MV, Under The Skin. I forgot how deep his voice was. He’s such a great actor and all around sweet celebrity. I’m happy that him and I share the same birth year. Though he’s over 5 months older than me.
ppl in the comment section who watched it long back ..please help me...how do i get over this..how do i make it…
Doesn’t get easier. Granted honestly I get a kick out of watching people react to the last episode. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who has a broken heart. It will remain as one of my favorite Japanese BLs of all time. I hope Inoue Sora and Komiya Rio have dramas together again in the future. They have really good chemistry.
As someone who is well versed in Japanese dramas, the amount of BGM differs from drama to drama. Overall, yes, Japanese dramas tend to have less music in them. Having less adds to the atmosphere and gives the viewer a more realistic approach to the story and the drama. Which actually Japanese is one of the best at drawing in the viewer into the story.
My last two J-BLs were " Kabe-Koji-Nekoyashiki-kun" and "Eternal Yesterday"...those set standard so high that…
Lol but this type of icy cold seme prince and panicky clumsy uke clown are not exclusive only to Japanese BLs. Thai BLs have them too and even Taiwanese too. But we shall see how this plays out. I think it’s still too early to say whether it will live up to the bar that Eternal Yesterday set. I didn’t think the first two episodes were too bad. Just a slow burner I suppose.
o.o Interesting! He’s only two days older than me. He’s December 22, 1991. I’m December 24, 1991. He’s an interesting actor in Till The World Ends. First time I’ve seen him too.

Scrubb hmm doesn’t ring a bell, but I have watched 2gether so I probably would recognize it if I heard it. But yes! I have a YouTube playlist of Asian music from all the Asian dramas I watch. I watch mostly BL too, but I also like other dramas too. My playlist is full of Thai, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and a few Filipino songs too. To be honest, because of my love for BLs and Asian dramas, I even started to learn the languages because I find them very interesting and soothing to listen to.

Agreed. One thing I love about discovering new dramas are that I get to discover new osts and then I become a fan of the artist. 😊 I’ve discovered literally hundreds of new artists because of my love for Asian dramas.
Most of the dramas today use informal daisuki (i like u alot) rather than formal aishiteru (i love you) n i appreciate…
In terms of that, it’s because both terms hold different levels of emotions really. 愛してる is more or less something you would say to your loved one on your death bed or if you weren’t going to see them for a long time or whatever. Whereas 大好き is something that you can say on a daily basis. Just different levels of formality and what not. Honestly it’s hard to explain because we don’t have these types of formalities and emotions in English. They both just translate to “I love you.”
