what what what?? Han Hyo Joo and Lee Jong Suk? HOLY SHIT i didn't even know. I've been waiting for Han hyo joo come back for like, YEEEEARS and YAAAAASSSSS goddammit.
I'm not really a big fan of this drama to be honest.
But i got no complaint either.
i've been a huge Song Joong Ki's fan since he was still in running man.
when he was in military and drama like The Heirs/My love from star become a big hit, i was worried that Joong Ki probably cant catch up when he's back.
But now his popularity keep rising, even though i'm not a fan of this drama myself the fact that he's popular now make my heart warm for some reason. :)
http://www.soompi.com/2016/03/22/quiz-which-descendants-of-the-sun-character-are-you/ I got Dr. Lee Chi Hoon :)…
Captain Yoo Si Jin
You are Yoo Si Jin! You are a social butterfly and believe you can get along with anyone. You are also incredibly supportive to those around you. When it comes to your own stuff, you are confident and often solve problems with a smile on your face!
I'm getting really pissed off. I'm watching this drama on viki where you can add comments during the video and…
Nah, more like too much fangirl rather than misogyny. just like other said, dont bother with viki's comment. you cant make an actual discussion out of it anyways.
IS IT GOOD ??????? I'm so afraid to start because I don't want to be disappointed, I've waited for this for sooooo…
Good cast. but no actual plot yet (or i miss something)
I expect the clash of ideology (doctor and soldier) but this topic only brought up on episode 2. :/
Again, there's no actual story yet thus make some scenario felt force(at least to me)
The sub-plot is somehow interesting(or is it because i like the actor?) that being said I wouldn't say it's the best drama.
But hey, Song Joong ki alone can make up for everything, give it a try.
The 2nd episode was way better than the first one, but still, i'm not quite sold on this drama yet. The slow-mos…
Except both of them don't have any chemistry yet. (well there's some in second episode but their chemistry in episode one was 0 for sure.)
And yeah i do agree second episode was way better than first one.
That scene at the cafe, the first clash of their ideology was handled in great way.
When Hye Kyo walked out, the camera was focused on the glass wall between them. This wall represented their ideology, which is pretty much their situation right now.
Both of them can see each other, near each other but separated by an invisible wall.
Right now i'm more interested in how they will handle the clash of ideology rather than romance. since from the first episode alone, i already think of romance in this drama as "plot device", just to trigger what's going to happen next.
Some problems with the show.
-Jin Goo's acting, he's pretty much bland, would have been better if they choose Kwang Soo for this role.
-Character's lines. while Song Joong ki can make his expression to match with his line, Jin Goo cant. thus make both of their conversation crigneworthy.
-The encounter (Joong ki and Hye kyo), well, to make it short character's lines also part of this problem, but while the line is part of problem, scenario is also playing a big role here. the scenario make the encounter felt force.
While it does have some problems, i will see this until the end since i'm pretty much a huge Song Joong Ki fanboy lol.
To sum up it was a fine first episode. not bad nor good.
#Hoping for more improvement in future.
