Giving this a 7. Acting good, Fight Scenes Exciting, Story plummets a bit, but still enjoyed it. I wouldn't steer people away from it, but is a show you have to just power through the story at points.

still slowly dying watching this. about to start 10. I had read there was a lot of cheating. So far Sir Douchebag cheated on Eve with there boss (or was he cheating on boss with Eve, or both). As far as LMH, he already broke off with his GF beforehand, not cheating imo, unless something happens on Earth. Personally, I feel even if she was hust dirt poor, the GF is a better choice/person then Eve.

Thank you for taking time to post this. I like that you gave an honest breakdown of your thoughts throughout the time you watched it. If I were watching this without the wife, I would have finished already. One day I might finally finish, but after episode 1, the drama went from good to hard to watch for me.

The problem isn't LMH, personally one of my Fav actors. This Drama is filled with them. The problem this time is delusional fan girls who don't like sharing spaces with differing opinions. It's funny how they argument flipped the situation and distorted it to them being the victim. Chilean, I agree, there is often undeserved hate for LMH. This one isn't the case. The drama just is poorly written.

No it puts me in the honest opinion category. Your honest opinion maybe opposite. That's ok. This drama has ome of my Favorite actors in it. In cluding LMH, I have watched all kind of K Dramas. Enough that over half of a year of the last ten years of my life was spent watching K Dramas. I have been around long enough to watch the decline of American tv/movies to popping out brain destroying mush most of the time. IMO this show is as bad. But I guess just ""Hater"" for invalidating people's feelings. SMH ...""You're Right""

The issue is when people rate something bad, they are attacked by the ones who like it. I personally like some American shows most people don't. Just because a few people like something, doesn't make it not bad either. the King wasn't bad, WTSG is trash. My opinion, shared because reviews needs both sides to be fruitful. Hopefully this helps.

it's not a hate train. Eternal Monarch was somewhat bad, disappointing might be a better word. But this show, with this cast, should have been a slam dunk. The concept, writing, and injected American wokeness ruined it imo.

Uncontrollably Fond poorly rewritten. it has its moments, but way too much nonsense.

Maybe I need to revisit this. This I rated 9.5 and rewatched with the wife. Mr. Plankton was a 5 at best imo.

so far the worst show with so many actors/actresses I know and love. 0.5 rating set as wife wants to finish this one. I am hoping with 12 episodes left to watch, that it becomes worthy of a better rating.

Finally after 2 years of watching this show in spurts, on the final episode. If you know nothing about the inner workings of prisons, I could see liking this show. Because I was once a prison guard, watching this show has been a chore. The utter lack of rules or security gnats at my bones. my wife enjoys it, and has been frustrated with my reluctance to watch. A masterpiece I can't agree with.

After 2 or more years on my watch list, i finally got around to watching and wishing I hadn't wasted the time.

It's a matter of taste. While I agree that the starts off amazing, others might feel the opposite. The last 6 episodes may have brought my rating down, the beginning was a 10, the ending was still a good drama. similar to my feelings of Behind your Touch. I would say it's worth a watch, even if the ending is drug out too much.

I would agree. I rated about a star higher, but almost rated lower than you. The story was rather boring halfway through imo then as it started to get better, a useless plot point to extend show 10 mins then abruptly end. This comment is full of grammar mistakes, but I don't care, kinda like I feel the writers didn't care much at the end.

If you are tired dainty women playing parts where IRL there is 0% chance of passing as a man, don't start it. I am only watching it because the ML is a damn good actor. The FL has been great in a few roles, but has not impressed in last few I have seen her in. I started this thinking it would be a great period piece, but has been pretty nonsensical for the most part.
