Its true that S2 is nowhere as good as S1...But I find it hilarious how so many ppl complain but still watch it weekly just so they can complain some more. If ppl really are so unhappy with the S2 then just stop watching. Whining about it weekly wont change anything lol
I feel like Plan's acting has gotten better while Mean's acting has gotten worse. Overall the whole quality of…
Plan's acting was never great in s1., but it wasnt bad. In s2 its reaching bad. He's forcing himself to be cute and naive, but it comes out as an awkward stupidness. Like an idiot at times (and not in a good way like s1.) His expressions at time dont portray him being naive, rather it gives the audience a feeling he is retarded.( But also we have to include the fact that they are 2yrs older from s1 so I guess its harder for an adult to portray a teenager as time goes on. )
After watching the 3rd ep . the story seems to be moving along . We are slowly passing the flashbacks and new story lines are slowly appearing. Which I think makes the series salvageable. The only things that bother me personally still: -They made Can into a somewhat annoying simpleton rather than keep his naive cute character -The heavy product placements.Ugh!!!! In the middle of a story they can always fit some sequence or scene where their sponsors appear. And they do it in such an award and forced way. If they they did it subtly or in a more natural way I wouldnt mind.
Ppl need to stop assuming Ae/Pete broke up cause Saint left the show. They broke up cause of the novel's plot, NOT cause of the managers' scandal/drama. The reason for the break up will be revealed in later episodes
I'm only watching this for TinCan ... I know this season is not strong like season 1 but guys can you just stop…
I think alot of ppl feel that its kinda disrespecting to them. They have been waiting for 2 years to see how Tin will win over Can, and how they end up together. But instead they are "told" to forget what they knew and loved, and to accept a watered down version. Ppl like the Tin/Can relationship cause it was solid and interesting. Now they reworked the characters and story. The writer is trying to keep the key moments (Tin kisses Can, Tin in the shower, etc) but has changed the build up to these moments. Its the same with western movies. Ppl go watch sequels cause they loved the original ideas. But often times the reboots toss out too much of the original concepts and rework them to the point it becomes bad. Its only normal viewers would feel cheated and unsatisfied
Thats actually what happens in the books. Trump comes back for revenge and tries to rape Pete. Ae saves him. But…
If u see the trailer for season 2, there is a scene were Ae is being threatened/beaten by 2 guys. That should be the part where Trump goes for the revenge on Ae. im sure they will tell the viewers about it seeing as how they are building up to the reason for Ae's break up. But im guessing we will only get flashbacks and some story telling to the reason. No actual scenes since Saint is no longer in the series.
Crazy theory what if pete moved to protect Are from Trump, since his story line got dropped. Pond did say it was…
Thats actually what happens in the books. Trump comes back for revenge and tries to rape Pete. Ae saves him. But then Ae almost got sent to prison. Pete had to ask his dad to save Ae. His dad agreed to only help Ae if they stop seeing each other cause he doesnt want Pete to date a guy. So Pete is forced to go study abroad
That "3 month ago" made it confusing for viewers. The football match happens towards the end of season 2, before Techno graduates and after Ae gets better from his break up. When they said "3 months ago" they meant the beginning of the school semester. There is no connection to season 1. When we see in the beginning of Can and Tin being close they have known each other for 3 months . Season 2 is talking about those 3 months of how they met
I have no idea what I am looking at. I already heard that they decided to do Tin/Cans story all over again....I…
I agree. Tin and Can's personalities got cut down. Tin lacks that snobbish arrogance and Can is not more "dumb" rather than hyper active and childish. I think the original series did better cause it they had a love/hate sorta chemistry. Now its more of a opposite-attracts thing.
As expected, it was a great pilot episode! But, can anyone please help me understand the timeline. Apparently,…
Ok, my understanding of the timeline is this:
-the football match is something that will happen near the end of season. After Tin and Can get closer -Season 2 is supposed to be happening after season 1, but they decided to reboot Tin and Can's meeting. Basically saying that they never met in season 1 -Ae and Pete break up sometime between season 1 and 2 - In season 2 Ae is alone. Tin and Can meet and start a new story
This person translated what Mame said about thathttps://twitter.com/rkatepuka/status/1301166440163278850
hm.....but that makes many events in S1 not possible. Some parts were important to help develop Ae and Pete's relationship. You could say without Can and Tin, Ae and Pete wouldnt have gotten together
I wonder the same. So weird about the time frame. They follow the novels. I haven't read them, but maybe they…
I thought about that, but still it doesnt make sense. If they are only meeting for the first time now, then alot of the stuff in S1 wouldnt be possible. Parts where Pete, Tin, Ae, Can interact would all not have happened, then alot of the plots would not be able to occur
Question for anyone else who watched the first episode:
Why does Tin not know Can? This episode happens after season 1. Everything else makes sense except; Why are Tin and Can meeting each other all over again and they dont know each other?
