Okay I guess it was good. No sponsors, I see. It would be difficult to put some lactasoy or oishi honey lemon…
Hahah I was and still am waiting for them to whip out some Oishi tea or use the printer in a historical drama. Imagine all the town ppl sipping plastic bottled Oishi tea
Was his french realy so lala? As a german speaker who learned petit french it sounded ok?
I learned some basic French and I thought for an Asian who doesn't even really speak other languages he did well. It's ofcourse not going to be fluent. But it was passable
Some ppl are really strange. It's only the first ep and there are ppl already complaining about the series. Yet they frantically defend STGD. Lol is this some sort of revenge thing? Do they think they will help that series become a good series by putting down this one? STGD is over, it's a done deal. And it was was a bad series....Face reality!
//Having Sea appear was just another gimmick to save a flopping series from flopping even more//Sea and Khao cameos…
I get what you mean. But think of it this way; do you think this series would have gotten the additional support if Sea and Khao had not been cast? I know they had been cast long ago. But what I meant to say was them appearing in the show saved the show a little. Or maybe you misunderstood what i meant. I didnt say Sea and Khoa contributed to the low views but rather that they saved the show somewhat As for for the speech, we cant deny that without the speech the show wouldnt have gotten so much more sympathy. Many ppl now feel sympathy for te actor and show, and therefore are more lenient and forgiving of the show's quality and when they rate it. Im sure not everyone is like that, but can you say these 2 factors didnt change ppl's opinion of the show towards the ends?
Obviously it wouldn't work someone woke up one day and decided to watch a series about a dentist? Of course not,…
It doesnt have to be a story with deep plot or characters. There are other shows that have basic tropes and plots. Plenty of such shows. But those were done right. This series wasnt
I find it funny that after Mark made his speech, this series is now getting more attention and sympathy. Its like ppl are feeling they need to say this series is good because they feel bad for Mark and Ohm. After 9 badly written and draggy eps, ep 10 was decent. But the finale was flat and predictable. Having Sea appear was just another gimmick to save a flopping series from flopping even more. Because lefts be honest; without Sea and Khao's appearances the last few eps wouldnt have impressed ppl as much. This series' failure isnt an argument based on personal preference , its a undeniable fact. The actors admitted it. The actor's mom showed her opinion about the series. And even the thai fans showed it simply from the fact that the final ep meeting couldnt even sell out. Not to mention the tweets and views internationally. Its sad that Mark got this script to work with. But harsh reality check; this series is BAD
Thank god this is ending. I mean that in a good way. Rather than dragging it on for another ep they are finally ending it. Its like instead of letting a sick pet continue to suffer in pain and agony they decided to put it to sleep and put it out of its own misery
To all the people who feel sad or mad about the series' outcome, please, do not worry, don't stress yourself over…
LOL. All pairs get another chance regardless. if GMMTV spent the time and money to develop and promote a pair they ofcourse will give them more than 1 series chance. SeaKeen's series was not a fail. It did better than other of GMMTV's series. (maybe it wasnt your cup of tea, but it was not a fail by the company's or the viewers' opinion. ) Both pairs got to attend and still are attending events) Their pair also has a rather solid fan base because Keen was a runner up in Project Alpha, and he had been in other series before GMMTV. GMMTV gives pairs another chance depending on their fan reaction. All the pairs you mentioned were pairs GMMTV planned to promote. And as you can see, OhmLeng's fan reaction went bad so they broke up the pair. ForceBook was at the time, one of GMMTV's new main pairs. Book had fan base from his earlier career days as a boy band singer. Only Boo was meant to test try the fans response to SeaKeen's pairing, which is why their series aired on Sundays. Friday series is for GMMTVs primetime heavy hitter series. Which is why MarkOhm series in comparison is considered a fail for the company. The results and views are low for a friday series. Even their final ep fan meet event was/is having trouble selling all the tickets. Normally final ep events sell out almost instantly. But for this series, even after 2-3 days of sales opening, there were still many seats unsold.
Surprised to see that it's only 11 eps instead of 12, with a gap week on the 13th before Memoir Of Rati starts…
there is always a gap week between 2 series. After 1 ends, there will be a behind the scene special for the next show. so on the 13th you will get the Memoir of Rati production/behind the scene special. GMMTV does that for all their shows
Why does it make a difference? Shows are streamed. If the show was good it wouldnt matter when ppl watched it.…
If this series was good, ppl would still watch it and comment on it too. But the situation is ppl have watched it and are commenting about it, but for the negative reasons after watching it
Another mistake: they should have said before that khao would be in this BL
I get your concept, but think of it from the other perspective. If lets say 10,000 more ppl viewed the show after hearing about Khao would appear. So of these 10,000 viewers do you think the majority would like the show? Isnt it more realistic to say that there would just be an increase in ppl who disliked the show after watching it? That would just make the # increase but with more negative reviews.
There's heavy competition on Friday from pitbabe, bl from boxing, BL from saint, there's another one I've forgotten…
Why does it make a difference? Shows are streamed. If the show was good it wouldnt matter when ppl watched it. Ppl would still watch it. And if it were good the reviews would stay true. If this show aired on lets say tuesday, where there arent any other BLs, it wont change the result if views. Ppl would still be watching other shows. They would even save the the show from friday, to watch on tuesday since there isnt anything else to watch that day.
Another mistake: they should have said before that khao would be in this BL
Sorry but that would have been a bad idea. imagine you are on of those fans that was told Khao would appear. So you on purposely watch the show for Khao. Only to find out he appears briefly in the eps 9 and 10. So you would have sat through 8 bad eps just to see your bias briefly. And even if ppl viewed it not for Khao, how many more of those new viewers would like the show. Its safe to say the majority wouldnt. it would just bring more negative feedback That would just make more fans upset and dislike the series.
