Yeah, go to my profile, I wrote a review on it. Its the first drama I watched completely since coming back to watch dramas. Last drama I watched was in 2006. Its heavy on revenge and romance but it has two of my favorite actors/actresses, Luo Jin and Tiffany Tang, who happen to be real life couples as well so all the better since they are the two leads.

I suppose. I came from Princess Weiyoung, so I'm trying to find that Boy/Girl relationship. I have no problems either with "Bromance" but this drama was playful that even if those who did not know about the true story behind this drama could still enjoy it.

The scene where she needled him in the back before turning herself into the Jin Clan, I thought she would lean down to kiss him :D.
Strange that they showed that scene where Core Crusher showed some emotion after slaughtering the Jiang Clan, remember he almost refused to drink the liquor in celebration? I don't see reason to show that aspect of him, if he was insignificant later on. But perhaps it just shows that some in the Wen Clan were just there out of mere loyalty or repaying some sort of debt.
He held it in his pouch and turned the sword into the Stygian Tiger Metal. While he was falling down the Burial…
I already got it. Obviously those younger cultivators won't know even if he revealed his face. So all of this mess is because of the Jin Clan leader being a perverted man.
Firstly, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian's relationship in the drama isn't actually "bromance". The "bromance" tags…
I came here after finished Princess Weiyoung so I kind of wanted to see at least one male and female relationship, besides the Shijie and ZiXuan one. I hope this drama didn't get its rave ratings simply because it catered to that community you were talking about. I hope they liked it because of the actual acting and drama itself.

Thanks for the explanation especially with the censoring of Wen Cao. I never read the book or knew anything about this story prior to watching this drama. Though regarding Core Crusher, I think in Episode 15-17 he showed some glimpses of being a good person, which made me think he would have switched sides or do something different before he was killed.
Officially, Yi Nan Ping (the Lotus Pier song) is sung by a different singer, Yin Ling. The actress, Xuan Lu, is…
Wow, I did not know that. Seems to me many actors and actresses are skilled in many talents so I wondered if they developed those after acting or vice versa. So I guess acting might not be as skilled as singing cause they can pick it up so easily, I am not sure it would be that way the other way around.
I'm no business major so I have to take a wild guess. I might be entirely wrong, feel free to correct me.The show…
I get it but still watching the bloopers, I see so many people like make up people, fan holding people, so many different types of people so I wonder what their salary is or maybe some are even volunteers.
Alright so I finished the drama and even wrote a review. Here are some of my thoughts
5. Ending -- Ah this is where I felt it was rushed and some things were not explained. It was less anti-climatic than with the end of the Wen Clan. I would have preferred that to be the main rival.
Things I would have wanted to see more of -- (1) The death of Wen Cao. Yes, we saw how he suffered but we never knew how he died. (2) Core Crusher, he showed remorse after wiping out Jiang Clan. Got the feeling he would have done something against the Wen Clan before he was killed. (3) The relationship between Wen Qing and Jiang Cheng. I understand this drama is focused on Bromance, but how this relationship never developed was very disappointing. Actually I ship Wei WuXian and Wen Qing. (4) How in the end, Jin Ling never got a proper scene with Wei WuXian to console the misunderstandings. (5) The fact that most already suspected Meng Yao to be the end villain so this kind of ruined the ending.
How do these actors/actresses and the entire team filming this drama get paid or how much? If dramas are not paid like movies in theaters for then how do they make money?
