For having read them, Cherry Boy, That Girl definitely needs a full adaptation just like Cheese In The Trap, it deserves at least that much. Lookism is a really pure and lovely webtoon that I personally adore and I really wouldn't be against it. It's kind of a School series mixed with ... 49 days ? Also the themes found out throughout the webtoon are really interesting and reveal many truths about the current society.
I'm not sure, but I think I heard Kim Go Eun couldn't be on this film because of her schedule.
What I heard is that they decided not to cast her because "Oh Yeon Seo is a better fit for a movie", or something like that. She is pretty renowned and has a lot more exposure, that may be why. Too bad, Kim Go Eun was perfect as well.
Jung Hye In looked so good in Jugglers. It's a shame she didn't get much of a story. I'd love to see her in a…
I definitely approve, this should be done. She definitely looked the part and she did give me feelings of looking at a potential ML, so I believe it should really be taken into consideration.
I'm still confused about Moon Hyo Jin's letter. If Ji Won was not the one who ruined her life but Mr. Han, then…
The letter was probably meant to be sent to Mr. Han at first, especially when she went to visit him, she had probably intended to post it, but then she realized she couldn't and she put the letter in the book when she returned home and cleaned up after herself before her suicide (some people clean up their belongings before killing themselves) and she forgot the letter was in the book. She had probably kind of given up at this point, and when she noticed her warning letter (either to not forget, or to let Ji Won know that it was meant to him) was too late at that point she lost all hope and simply registered herself to the banquet. The thing about Hyo Jin's hate towards Ji Won is more like she knew it was the right thing but she had an idea of what would entail from that event being revealed. Unfortunately at that time they did not believe the children and let Mr. Han escape unscathed, and Ji Won became a liar then. Worst case, Hyo Jin was just in an access of rage and desperation because of her current lifestyle (as hinted many times by some quotes).
Honestly the original novel (actually manwha) has a far better storyline and romantic feeling compared to the drama, but it was interesting in a way to make the other personality also love the ML. Still, it would have been far better to be faithful to the manhwa to a certain extent. You barely find traces of it here. Not to mention, the lost original intent to make the "bad" personality the real culprit behind the crimes is kind of nonsense, when it could have been actually a great twist. (Also, the other personality was revealed too quickly...)
Holy... This is a perfect cast indeed. Could possibly include Yook Sung Jae as either Bender or Johnson, he's a great young actor, I have lots of expectations for him.
Suzy's chemistry with Kim So Hyun was no joke, they need another drama together as something like love rivals or sisters, I was surprised at how good they interact in the drama. Not to mention, their "femme fatale" clips were just one of the best things I have ever seen, I couldn't help cracking up when seeing these clips. The supporting cast and the guests (Kim So Hyun and Kang Ki Young most especially) really made this drama great. The drama was really good in my opinion, especially the first half, a real source of enjoyment. If I were objective I wouldn't rate it a 10 but the show made such a good impression on me that I am gonna do it.
