ok, I admit, I got emotional the rain came down during the "break up" scene in episode 4 as itreminded me of the "break up" scene in the rain in A Breeze of Love.
Who wears white shoes, khaki pants and a white shirt camping?! Ugh. This show started off good and then tanked for me. I struggled with the last 3 episodes. I just wanted it over with. Your experience might be different and that's fine as it is your experience.
ok, it started strong, got stronger, snd then lost me. Can someone please tell me what his trauma was with legs and nude video that happened 8 years ago? And that ending, ugh! I must say though, Jason Xu is handsome and sexy. I can just watch him walking in slo mo in the rain all day.
Ok, so there were about 15+ slaps, obsession, poor acting, horrible fight scenes, a drawn out death, and feeding blood plot wrapped up in this. Have you ever laughed at something bcuz it was so stupid? Yeah, that's this. Yet, I was invested in it and had to finish watching it. Dude that played Ivan is nice looking. The brother (Justin) and his momma were, annoying. And the father is $hit! I don't know if it was the translation or if some of the lines were garbage. Probably both. I do appreciate them including the disability element in the storyline. Watch if you want something to laugh at. Don't watch if you don’t want to waste any brain cells.
Gaslighting. How is this Akoko's fault? Why was it up to her to understand her friend? Why should she feel bad that she liked someone first, her friend started liking him and after Akoko and him got together, the friend kissed him?! Naw, that's bs! She and I would not be friends anymore. Plus, I am not fighting over anyone! Everyone will be cut off. Naomi is another issue. Definitely would not have put in they much effort for him. So in the end, they all end up togethet, chilling playing basketball. ugh, Maybe I am too old for this movie.
ok, so, I liked the actors and beautiful beautiful beautiful landscape. Their chemistry and dynamic was there. Sad-ish ending. Now, my only issue, is the angst. I personally, don't think it was severe enough to warrant dude getting that level of mad. That's just me though. Anyway, back to the sad ending. Dude's father died, mother died, and he will die. Then, the vet dude is left. I like that they reunited AND that's going to be hard. Whether you love someone or not, knowing their death is imminent is a lot. There is still no way to be fully prepared. Who is wondering where he got the horse? lol
So the editor, producer and director watched the show and was ok with the horrible editing and ridiculous camera zooming? They were fine with not editing out the shot of dude's microphone in the inside of his shirt in episode 6? They were fine with the amount of shots for one scene, especially when it showed poor editing? How many times did dude unbutton dude's shirt in episode 4? It was almost like they kept the re-takes and takes at different angles, to pad episodes. Imagine without the extras and unnecessary footage, episodes would have been less than 10 mins each.Didn't like the plot/storyline. I'm all for kissing and that was way too much. I felt like screaming, "get a room"; they already had one. Handsome actors was the only positive.
The actress that played the mom, played her role well. Not going to lie, I almost started laughing when she floated away, outside. And what was up with the 60s/70s something year old Yakuza boss dressing like a 90s decade rapper or mafioso? lol Although dude is handsome, I liked the at home with glasses and bangs in the face look more.
Ok, so, I might have missed something, please clarify. The summary says they are not blood related. Yet, the mother made a comment at the end of episode 12 that the uncle is stubborn like the boys father (unless she was saying her son is stubborn like his father???) So, are they blood related or not? Did I miss a part in the show where they explained how they are/are not blood related? And how do you find a necklace in the sea?
