Sec to check who Ikouta Toma is.... Aaaaaaaah, that guy. Yeap, he was all kinds of awesome in Hana Kimi. I haven't watched anything else that he's been in, I don't think. Although, I think he played a minor role in Hana Yori Dango (which was much much much better than Boys Before Flowers, imho).

It's kalimeroudia for me, I'm in Athens atm. City Hall, yes, Cha Seung Won is my one true Korean love I think. But the female character did go through that crazy personality transformation in that one too, don't you think? I've watched the few last episodes in fast forward, so I must get back to it at some point ^^

I'm watching The Bridal Mask now and I'm loving it. I absolutely loved The Greatest Love but I only watched the first episode of Pasta, maybe I wasn't in the mood for it at the time. I haven't watched the other dramas that you mention, I'll give them a shot soonish.

Heh, there is a reason why she's my favorite heroine (so far). You see, I haven't watched too many dramas but the ones that I have watched suffer from the same female lead syndrome.

You see, females usually start off as these independent, butt kicking, funny, sassy characters, and then true love happens. And then they turn into these meek creatures that fall down on their knees and beg their future mother in law for her blessing, they change their hairdo and wardrobe into something more proper, they change their mannerisms and overall personality to fit the part of the perfect love interest for the hero. And it makes me wonder... The hero didn't fall in love with that later version of the girl, he fell in love with her back when she was crazy/butt kicking/sassy and what not. Why did she have to go through that change?

I understand that it's a matter of cultural difference, but still, it's always nice to see a character that does change because she fell in love, but she doesn't get a personality transplant. In my opinion, falling in love just made her a better version of herself.

Heh, we're watching the same drama, again. And we happen to be on the same episode too. What do you think of the King 2 Hearts? To tell you the truth, I didn't like the first episodes much, but now I'm anxious to see what will be happening next :)

I watched the first episode yesterday. I'm not really a fan of melodramas; all these misunderstandings drive me crazy most of the time. I want to jump through the screen and slap everyone... The only reason I enjoyed the first episode, was the female lead. It was nice change from all the nice/kind/gentle heroines. But the guy's story? Leaving his sis behind and admitting to having committed a murder without a motive and without getting the benefit of self defense that his girlfriend would have, for what? So that she can still can work as a reporter? While he won't be able to finish his medical studies? Eye roll to the maximum. I hope it will be making more sense in the future.

I know. It made want to hug my grandmother all the time. I think I cried a bucket of tears throughout the show, but it was so sweet...
