I actually didn't hate the ML in the Shen Hao Nan version as much as I hated the ML in the Bai Yan version but maybe it's because it was a choppier version and they didn't show the ML being in love with the SFL as much as they did in the Bai Yan version. I assume this is an old drama, but it just showed up in my Facebook feed today - maybe it's choppy as scenes are missing? Absolutely not a storyline that I like...

Started watching a Shen Hao Nan/Yao Yu Chen drama and realized it was a remake of this drama. The production wasn't as good as the Bai Yan version and it had an Open Ending (which means there are at least 3 versions of this drama out there). ML definitely didn't end up with SFL but the drama ended before FL agreed to take him back...

So I just watched another version of this drama with Shen Hao Nan and Yao Yu Chen. (I didn't realize it was another version of this drama until I started watching it.) The Shen Hao Nan version wasn't as well done as I only clearly understood the plot because I had watched the Bai Yan version. I rate the Shen Hao Nan a 4 out of 10 - it was just bad...And to add insult it had an Open Ending...

I liked the Zhong Zheng version the best (maybe because he wasn't as cold as in the other versions) and the FL was very sweet
