Title Hidden Love
Rewatching after developing my frontal lobe I really cannot get past the age gap. I'm friends with kids 5 years…
It's weird that the actor playing ML doesnt change throughout the years and the FL acting like a kid and speaking in a baby voice even in college when everyone around her acts normal is very off putting. Age gap would've at least been passable if the entire thing wasn't this weird

Such a beautiful movie. I have absolutely no idea how slop dramas end up with inflated 8-9s and this one should deservedly be really high. I hate that I don't know any other alternative for scores so I can decide what to watch.

The show is at it's best when there is no fighting, the comedic bits are excellent and all the characters play well into it especially Yoon Sang Jung. The gangster stuff is too corny, I think the fights should only be limited to within school setting. These shows based on webtoons just seem like what middle schoolers think high schoolers are like.
On Because This Is My First Life Nov 2, 2024
Watched it again after 3 years and I love it even more now that I'm older. The characters were so mature and full-fledged with their own worldview and scars of past and present which shaped it. The character development felt natural too. Will surely rewatch this in a few years.

For me, the lack of chemistry seemed to be a writing issue rather than an acting one. Like in the pool scene,…
Yeah, true actually makes sense. What I meant when I like the story was the drama, the romance part was never interesting and I do believe that the chemistry/acting lacked too maybe not a lot. And now that you have pointed it out the writing never let anything simmer and flow naturally, I get what they were trying to make here but the execution was pretty bad. It was a huge disappointment that Lnd turned out to be average.

Jung So Min is so freaking cute and pretty, I was crushing so hard as always.
But the main leads as well as the second leads lacked chemistry, it did get better towards the end. In the latter half I started noticing that the serious and intense moments were being interrupted by jokes or other characters, because the story is actually quiet good, tackles deep serious issues and doesn't need to be disrespected by this slapstick bs. On the other hand the parents had amazing chemistry it felt so natural and Yeon Du is cute as hell. Maybe I expected too much from jhi and jsm because 'something in the rain', 'the smile has left your eyes', and 'because this is my first life' had some of my favourite chemistry in dramas.

This was straight up bad, this should have been a show or a mini series. I get that it was trying to make a point but it was so stupidly executed.

The dreamlike production as well as their chemistry plays really well into stirring up emotions in the viewers. There is something about shows that feel unreal and real at the same time that is so beautiful and mesmerizing. . Whatever the ending might mean, you can look at it a superficially or look deep within, it is up to you but it leaves you emotionally satisfied(or at least I am).

I might be biased in rating the show a little too high(9/10) but I really enjoyed it. But wow, I love mini-series/short dramas. So much more enjoyable than most full length dramas which feels like they're dragging it out because they bought the airing slots or some reason other than creative liberty.

AoS is not historical 🤗I don't like historicals and I loved AoS. This is romcom fantasy, no heavy drama/politics,…
I'll try watching it in a week or two, thank you.

Is this show enjoyable for someone who's not a fan of historical dramas and the addition of fantasy with historical makes me even less of fan. I watched half of bulgasal and wasn't a fan mainly because of the fantasy historical theme.

It's pretty much a classic fairy tale romance, it's pretty chill for the most part and doesn't really try anything…
The show drags on for quiet a bit after ep10 and some new bs filler plot is added to get the story to ep14 and the last 2eps are literally just a slice of life drama.

It's pretty much a classic fairy tale romance, it's pretty chill for the most part and doesn't really try anything new with the story and quiet forgettable. But I did enjoy it, I think this one is very subjective and based on the viewers preference. Both main characters were pretty good and charming, side characters were alright. You should probably avoid it if you don't like slow and/or cliché romance dramas.

I agree, it's not like the show does anything bad but it also doesn't do anything great. You wouldn't really miss out if you skip this one.

Is this drama like a semi-historical drama? I'm neither a fan of fantasy dramas nor historical dramas. I want to give it a try because it looks interesting and totally not because I have a huge crush on Nara.

Snowdrop has some of the biggest names in korea, so obviously it is going to be beat out by the sheer number of idol worshiping fans(stans??).

Only started this drama because I saw Na Ra in the poster. But this drama did surprise me by how mediocre it was. The main leads' chemistry was not good, the FL especially was not interesting and Na Ra's character was annoying. As for the story the mystery was not very mysterious and the thriller was barely thrilling and I was never on my toes for the 13 eps(26eps?) I have watched. Gonna drop this one neither fun nor a slow burner.
On Now, We Are Breaking Up Dec 4, 2021
boring... too boring to even watch this week's episodes. I thought I would see Song Hye Kyo have better/different acting now. Does she always get boring roles or is she making the character she is playing boring, I want to believe in the former but I'm leaning towards the latter.
