That’s my impression after watching 4 episodes, sorry. I really liked dicky Cheung as Xiaoyu’er so I had high expectation. That’s very important for this drama in my opinion and Chen Zhe Yuan isn’t as good as him. I’m up to episode 6 now. I just like the 2005 version more, but I will continue to watch to see how this version will progress.

I watched all of Ni Ni movies after finishing the rise of phoenixes and love and destiny. I‘m obsessed with her and I need more. She is so gorgeous and classy. War and history are some of my fav genres, and the flowers of war is great.

Really like this drama so far. It's so heartwarming and refreshing. I was tearing up on episode 2. If you liked master's sun and it's okay that's love, you'll probably like this one :)

Great drama with rich storyline. Only negative aspect is the actress, or more-so her character, which was at annoying to see.

After watching 20 episodes of this drama, I can say that I love the chemistry between the main leads. I love it when they come on screen and I get excited when they give me romance. I also love Qing Yao, she’s such a smart and cool character! The things she does for Ling Xi will make you love her. The ost MVs foreshadow so many heartbreaking scenes...hope it’s not gonna be a sad ending :(

Btw, please watch more than one episode before you rate a drama. Ratings can deter people from watching a good drama.

This drama is pretty good. Give it a try. If you like TMOPB, then I think you’ll like this one. The actor may look a old, but he’s quite decent looking once you observe him further into the drama. The cast is great. Dont judge a book buy its’ cover guys.

If you were wondering if you should watch this then you should because this is a really good remake of heavenly sword and dragon saber
