just my opinion but from what it looks like I think originally b4 coming on show he wanted mingkyung back but as soon as he saw others found him hot and gave him alot of attention he got carried away..but I think he will probably miss his ex when he gets out of the show if he doesn't find anyone

exactly bcuz he mentioned getting back with his ex but his actions were nothing like tht ..rather minkyung told she wants to meet someone new and she has been seen wanting to get back to him...

its not about the name of the person but rather the fact that he has a interest in person he can name ...this shows her he isnt faking it and has clearly moved on
u have to take into fact that they had dated for 8 years and broken up only 3 months b4 the show...if she had zero intention of getting back with him she wud not have come at all

the whole point of the show is to either get back to ur ex or move on ...she probably came to move on but their relationship lasted 9 freaking years so she will have a hard time and he isn't making it easy for her thats what frustrated me. she is clearly telling him that if she knows that he liked someone else it wud help her move on but to get that info she had to question him countless times. people have diff ways to move on and cope so she probably needs a straightforward answer to do that
