I wanted to like this because it was shot nicely but it was sooooo slow paced. They could’ve done away with so many shots and added to more of a script that was less cryptic. Idk what they wanted me to get out of this 😭. Like the music dude was super sketchy and I guess they wanted to give off this ominous feeling about him when he disappeared with the women?😭😭idk

I’m excited for this GL. I’m definitely watching this for MilkLove but I get G4 as a bonus?? It’s kinda sad people shitting on other people for whatever reason they have to watch this show. Yes MilkLove are the stars but so what if people are coming for G4? As long as this series is successful then that means more of a chance for more Sapphic shows and content from the network in the future. Anyways I’ve been coming back frequently for update on this show😭.

Couldn’t have said it better. It’s actually disturbing how there’s that one person in the comment section trying to justify their weird obsession with romanticizing rape. I cannot fathom how people do not understand the difference between using rape as a plot device or using it to bring awareness instead of using it as a trope because people get off on watching and reading other people suffer. This story is doing nothing but romanizing it. Disgusting. Rape is such a common trope in BLs and it’s disturbing because they’re marketed towards young teens. Just because it’s a work of fiction does not make it okay. This is romanticizing rape. NALA is a short gl film that brings awareness about rape. Both works of fiction except one did not have trouble getting released for obvious reasons.

Exactly these “fans” always are defending cbls by saying they have better story telling and always by default say “if you wanted to see all that kissing go watch a Thai bl.” Like one that’s insinuating Thai BLs are only good for intimacy and two no babes we just want something similar to what we’ve read from these book adaptations. Like they can’t even hug for too long or hold hands. We don’t even get the bare minimum of intimacy. Being physical in any capacity is a necessity.
