“This drama is perfect for a one-time watch.”

After reading a few reviews, I came to realize that this kind of drama is quite popular. However, for me, this was my first time watching something like this. Naturally, my experience felt different because I usually gravitate toward other genres.

Simply put, I don’t really prefer romantic series. In that sense, this drama truly worked for me. The story and the acting were the best aspects of the drama for me, and the rest of it was also quite watchable.

To be honest, I really admire the female lead in this drama, which was another reason I decided to watch it.

I have three solid reasons for liking this drama:

1) It is a revenge drama with strong and justified motivations

2) The acting was spot-on

3) Most importantly, it has a solid plot packed with thrilling moments

That said, this kind of drama isn’t rewatchable for me. Once the suspense and twists are revealed, watching it again doesn’t have the same impact. It’s like reading a book backward when you already know every chapter—it just feels boring to me. Maybe that’s just my personal preference.

Overall, this drama was definitely worth watching.

Finally, the Toxic BL of My Dreams !

**A moment of silence for those who failed to recognize this GEM.**
Truly, my condolences to them, because they missed something **life-altering**.

Trust me when I say this series did not just entertain me, it **changed me**. I still cannot believe that I finally found the **toxic, manipulative, obsessive, dark BL** that my soul had been craving for so long. This was not just a drama, this was an **emotional explosion**. I wanted to scream, cry, laugh, and combust all at once. My excitement was overflowing, my heart was racing, and my sanity was nowhere to be found. Sorry if my reaction feels dramatic, but this is what happens when you finally find something that feels like it was made **exactly for you**.

First of all, a **thunderous round of applause for the writer**, because THIS is how you write a masterpiece. This is only the **second BL** in my life that made me fall this hard, and that alone says everything. The storytelling, the darkness, the obsession, the emotional tension, everything hit exactly where it was supposed to.

Now let me kneel for **You Shulang**.
I am on my knees. I am bowing. I am offering all my respect.
This character was **INSANELY satisfying**. I loved *everything* about Shulang. His mindset, his confidence, his self-respect, his emotional intelligence. He was not stupid, not blind, not the typical BL character who forgives pain just because of love. When Shulang started holding a grudge against Fan Xiao, **that was the exact moment the drama leveled up**. He knew his worth. He did not hand over his love to someone who didn’t deserve it. And when he finally opened his heart to Fan Xiao, it felt earned, powerful, and deeply meaningful. For me, **You Shulang is one of the finest BL characters ever written**, period.

Now let’s talk about **Fan Xiao**, the definition of **toxic done right**.
This man absolutely **SLAYED** the role of an obsessive character. Everything I thought I knew about manipulation and obsession was rewritten by this character. Fan Xiao didn’t feel fake or exaggerated, he felt *dangerously real*. And yet, I never hated him. Not once. His madness, his desperation, his obsession for You Shulang was so intense and sincere that it pulled me in instead of pushing me away. What truly impressed me was his **growth**. He didn’t magically turn into a green flag overnight, he *atoned*. He suffered. He changed. But his obsession for Shulang? That stayed the same, and that consistency made his character unforgettable. The actor **ate this role and left no crumbs**.

From the very first episode to the very last, this drama gave me **everything I wanted and more**. The pacing never dropped, the tension never faded, and the atmosphere stayed dark, romantic, and thrilling throughout. This series is unforgettable not just for its plot, but for the **emotional weight and intensity** it carried every single moment. The rewatch value is insanely high, and right now it proudly holds **number 2** in my all-time favorite BL list. It didn’t take number 1 only because that spot has already been claimed by *Revenged Love*.

And finally, let me say this clearly and loudly:
**No matter what happens, “To My Shore” will remain my all-time favorite BL drama.**
This drama means so much to me that I can honestly say I would **fight the whole world** for it. It didn’t just give me a story, it gave me emotions, validation, obsession, and happiness. And that kind of impact? **Priceless.**

A Gentle School BL for the Right Audience !

This drama is **definitely not everyone’s type**, and that’s exactly why I appreciate it even more. Those who truly understood it and *felt* it—I respect you. Watching this was a genuinely wonderful experience for me. It’s a **school-love K-BL** with a very simple storyline, free from toxicity, chaos, or unnecessary disturbances. Just calm, soft emotions flowing naturally.

I was **almost completely satisfied** with this drama. One moment I especially liked was when **Da-yeol left Tae-hyun for two years** after Tae-hyun disrespected him in the classroom. Honestly? Tae-hyun deserved that wake-up call. Da-yeol choosing distance instead of begging showed self-respect, and I admired that deeply.

Then, when Da-yeol said he would **wait for Tae-hyun**, it perfectly expressed his **selfless love**. That scene was quiet but powerful. Tae-hyun’s behavior was understandable—he had been abandoned by everyone he loved, and that kind of trauma doesn’t just disappear. Still, I wish he had at least shared his feelings with Da-yeol instead of shutting him out completely.

I say I was *almost* satisfied because something felt slightly lacking in their relationship. Their chemistry wasn’t entirely flawless—they could have been a bit more lovey-dovey or more emotionally considerate toward each other. That extra warmth would have made their bond feel fuller.

But even with that, this drama was **extremely relaxing to watch**. Calm, gentle, and emotionally safe. Most importantly, it was **absolutely my type**. I enjoyed it so, so much, and it left me with a soft, comforting feeling long after it ended.

Steamy Kisses Carry the Show !

This is a **very short Korean BL** with **no solid plot** and honestly… **half the time it makes no sense**. But somehow? It still works. In a *turn-your-brain-off* kind of way.

Let’s be real: this drama survives almost entirely on **steamy kiss scenes**. Every episode is basically, *plot? who is she?* But weirdly enough, the vibe is good. It’s entertaining, light, and oddly comforting if you don’t expect depth, logic, or a groundbreaking story.

Did it change my life? **No.**
Did it confuse me? **Yes.**
Did I still enjoy it? **Also yes.**

I personally enjoyed all the **passionate kiss scenes** a lot, and that’s honestly the main reason it held my attention till the end. It’s not a typical BL, not something I’d hype as a masterpiece, but it’s also not boring enough to drop.

So yeah, I’m giving it a **7/10**.
Not because it’s great, but because it’s **decent time-pass entertainment**.

Overall, there’s nothing exceptionally good about it—but if you have some free time and want something easy, short, and mildly entertaining, I’d still recommend watching it **once**. Just don’t expect more than what it is.

Don’t Ask Me Why I Loved This !

Believe me, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING good about this drama.
It is a train wreck, a brain-melter, and a certified disaster… and somehow that is exactly why it ruined my life.

Kamol was a freaking mafia boss who love BDSM and Kim was one who was a MESOCHIST and that's how they made up their relationship. Kamol was obsessed with Kim just because in their first NC scene Kim takes all the violence during the sex time and make him freaking happy. Like WTF is this ! Kamol becomes head over heels for Kim because Kim survives their first wild encounter and apparently that was enough to trigger lifelong devotion. Like EXCUSE ME??? Is this romance? Is this destiny? Or did the writers just spin a wheel labeled WHAT THE HELL and go with it? Let’s not even touch the story, because calling it “messy” would be an insult to mess.

When I watched this drama for the first time, my brain was physically screaming at me to stop. My soul felt uncomfortable. My common sense packed its bags and left. It was creepy, confusing, and disturbing in the worst possible way… and yet, somehow, also in a weirdly good way? My brain was like, “NO.” My heart said, “One more episode.” And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how addiction starts.

I genuinely do not understand WHY I am obsessed with this nonsense. There is no logic. There is no justification. There is only chaos. This drama grabbed me by the collar, shook me violently, and said, “You’re mine now.” And I just… accepted it. Against my will. Against my dignity.

So yes, in conclusion:
I FREAKING LOVED IT.
For no reason.
With no explanation.
Against all sanity.

After writing this review, I am absolutely going to watch it again because I am UNHEALTHILY ADDICTED to this disaster. Judge me if you want. I don’t care. This drama broke my brain, kidnapped my heart, and I am not even trying to escape.

Do I recommend it? Absolutely not. Will I rewatch it anyway? 100% YES.

A BL series which defines "PERFECTION"

I just want to say one thing—**this BL is DAMN GOOD.**
It hit me with such a powerful wave of emotion that for a while my brain literally stopped responding. I just sat there, staring, trying to process what I had witnessed. This wasn’t just a series—this was **absolute cinema**.

This is the kind of BL that **raises the standard of the entire genre**. It proves that BL can be deep, artistic, and emotionally overwhelming without trying too hard. The acting? **PHENOMENAL.** Honestly, words are not enough to describe how obsessed I am with their performances. Every expression, every silence, every emotional breakdown felt painfully real. The actors didn’t just play their roles—they **became** them.

The story and the acting complemented each other perfectly. Nothing felt forced, exaggerated, or unnecessary. It was raw, immersive, and deeply moving. I was hooked not because of shock value, but because of how genuinely it made me *feel*.

This BL is absolutely **worth watching**—no hesitation, no second thoughts.
Just watch it. Feel it. Let it hit you. And enjoy every second of this masterpiece.

I Keep Coming Back to This One !

**I KEEP COMING BACK TO THIS ONE.**
And honestly? I don’t even try to fight it anymore.

I’m not someone who enjoys reading reviews, let alone writing them. Yet this BL did something to me that I cannot explain. The moment I finished it the first time, I *knew* I wasn’t done. And yes, let me say it clearly and proudly: **I’ve watched it more than three times already**, and I am absolutely certain I’ll watch it again. This series has that grip on me, the kind that quietly settles into your heart and refuses to leave.

The story itself is simple, yet strangely compelling. It’s not a typical toxic romance but rather a **dark love** blooming between two yakuza men who are both deeply broken in their own ways. Odajima Ren is a character that hurts to watch. A victim of domestic violence since childhood, emotionally scarred, lonely to the core. He grows up believing his existence has no meaning, and in a tragic turn, he ends up killing his own family, sealing his fate as a man completely alone in the world. Life has nothing left to offer him… until Asahi appears. Asahi becomes his family, his warmth, his reason to live. And when Asahi is taken away from him by Kataoka Kinji, that fragile hope shatters again. Yet from that loss, Ren finds one final purpose: **revenge**.

Kataoka Kinji, on the other hand, is a fascinating contradiction. He comes off as careless, even reckless, but he is never truly unaware of the consequences of his actions. When Odajima warns him not to attend his father’s funeral, he ignores the danger completely and instead chooses to flirt. That alone tells you everything about him. He isn’t arrogant; he’s simply exhausted by a world full of betrayal. There’s something strangely attractive about how he is both gentle and teasing toward Odajima. And I can’t deny it, there is an undeniable sense that he becomes quietly **obsessed** with Ren.

Their feelings for each other are unsettling, unspoken, and deeply restrained. Nothing is loud or obvious. The emotions grow slowly, silently, in the spaces between glances and tension-filled moments. Their NC scenes are executed beautifully. Kataoka is the one who pursues, while Odajima, lost and uncertain about his own heart, doesn’t push him away. That dynamic gave me such a strange, heavy feeling—uncomfortable yet captivating. It’s not romance meant to comfort; it’s romance meant to linger in your mind, and that’s exactly why I admire it.

The acting deserves endless praise. Kataoka and Odajima feel as if they’ve stepped straight out of a manga panel and into real life. Every expression, every pause, every restrained emotion feels intentional and raw. This Japanese BL delivers emotions that stay with you long after the screen goes dark, making you crave another rewatch even when you know it’s going to hurt again.

Overall, this is an **absolutely worth-watching BL series**. Dark, emotional, haunting, and unforgettable. I enjoyed it far more than I expected, and it has officially earned a permanent place in my heart.

Pure Joy, Great Chemistry, and Healing Vibes !

One of the **absolute best BL rom-com dramas of 2025**, hands down. GMMTV is truly *serving*, and as a **die-hard PondPhuwin fan**, my heart honestly cannot take it anymore. This couple owns my soul, my sanity, and my emotional stability (which was already hanging by a thread). The drama delivers a strong yet comforting plot with a perfectly chosen cast. Their acting feels so natural and effortless that you forget you’re watching fiction and start feeling like you should mind your own business because why am I this emotionally invested in their lives?

This is what a **top-tier BL rom-com** should look like. Now let’s talk about Thee, because his obsession with Peach (or Peace, as my heart wants to protect him 😭) deserves a full TED Talk. Thee is so deeply, ridiculously, hopelessly in love that he becomes *painfully cringe and adorably stingy* at the same time. He guards Peach like his last brain cell, gets jealous over the smallest things, and reacts like Peach smiling at air is a personal attack. Is it embarrassing? Yes. Is it over-the-top? Absolutely. Is it relatable? Unfortunately… also yes. That “please look at me and only me” energy is unhinged, but somehow it makes his love feel painfully sincere. You laugh at him, roast him, shake your head… and then immediately melt because wow, that devotion hits.

Watching Thee being completely head-over-heels for Peach turns every episode into an emotional rollercoaster wrapped in comedy. One moment you’re laughing like, “Sir, stand up,” and the next you’re soft because his love is so pure and genuine. No unnecessary complications, no forced angst, just natural emotions, silly jealousy, tender moments, and a love that feels safe, warm, and slightly embarrassing in the best way.

And the **second couple**? Irresistible. Their chemistry adds even more flavor to the drama, like that extra spice you didn’t ask for but now can’t live without. Every interaction sparkles, every scene feels alive, and together both couples make sure there’s never a dull moment. Not even for a second.

I have finished watching it, and honestly, I already miss it like it was part of my daily routine (because it was). This drama became my comfort space. Every episode eased my mind, lifted my mood, and wrapped me in a cozy feeling I didn’t know I needed. It’s the kind of rom-com that makes you forget your problems while creating new fictional ones to cry about.

I don’t remember the last time I laughed *this much* while watching a drama. It is a complete **mood changer**. During a really difficult time in my life, this series became a small but powerful source of healing. It helped me smile again, feel lighter, and breathe easier. Imagine a drama doing emotional damage and emotional healing at the same time. Multitalented.

In conclusion, if you are a fan of **BL rom-coms**, this drama is an **absolute must-watch**. Funny, emotional, comforting, and heart-stealing. A true masterpiece that proves sometimes, not a little cringe in the drama rather a little drama in the cringe, a little jealousy, and a whole lot of love is exactly what we need. 💙✨

BL Meets Horror and It Works !

I personally love this couple. They are genuinely amazing! This show is so far so good and I'm literally very satisfied to watch this. I appreciate both story and acting. The VFX is insane. This is absolutely a horror drama. The cinematography is also good.

I love these casts like they are perfectly suitable for their roll and they are doing their job flawlessly. I must say the ghosts in this show are really scary like it really shows us that a BL series with horror concept can also slay. I'm also impressed by the second couples. Their chemistry is also outstanding. If they can keep the flaw until the end then I must have to say that this show is going to be a fire 🔥🔥🔥

Overall, until now it is absolutely worth watching and I must recommend you to watch it.
