I absolutely LOVE Bang Won! Such a complex, realistic character. He is not hiding behind fake morality or honor. While Sambong hides his hunger for power behind his ideology and 'virtues' of Confucianism, Bang Won accepts himself and his desires. Yes, he is cruel and greedy sometimes but at least he is true to himself and doesn't hide. People who hate him just because he's 'evil' must view the world as black and white. The worst personality by far has the General. His 'honor' and pride are nothing more than cowardice and lack of determination. I cannot comprehend his gullibility, he's like a five-year-old child, and I can't stand him.
I believe that The Queen must suspect that Uisung is not the king's son since she also asked for him to attend the examination. She will probably, later on, disclose this fact and accuse The Queen Dowager of concealing the truth, plus there's the rebellion thing... I love how she's rebuilding relationships between concubines and their sons, again such a good mother.
I still stand by my theory that Bogum will be the crown prince and that he will be killed and the Queen framed.. Or they will stage a coup, and the king will be imprisoned or killed.. Or Sungnam becomes the Crown prince and then they stage a coup SO MANY THEORIES I LOVE IT!!

It wouldn't have been possible. It was a law for kings/emperors to have multiple concubines in order to ensure an heir and ensure the continuation of the royal bloodline. The Court wouldn't allow only one woman. Of course, the king could favor one woman but he still had to have concubines.

I really hope the Crown Prince survives but I know better. I bet his death will be a wake-up call for the Queen to fight and play 'dirty' to protect her children. I absolutely loved it!!! As silly as it was, and sometimes cringey I still loved every second of it. I cannot quite explain why but I just couldn't stop watching.
I don't think anyone can beat Santa and Earth when it comes to chemistry, it's simply so natural. Every look, every touch and every hug they share is just genuine and without even an ounce of awkwardness. Scenes where they sleep together, the way Cake looks at Eiw, it feels like we can see the care and love they are sharing. It actually seems as if we are watching them and not Eiw and Cake!!! Simply outstanding...
Such a beautiful series, even though the plot may seem 'simple' it's so captivating. And it's getting better and better!! People who decide to drop this series because of Eiw's 'winy' nature are surely going to miss out big time..
