I listen to him daily and I actually fall asleep listening to his playlists (his voice is so soothing that it helps me so much). I have always wanted to know his story, but I struggle to find an accurate English translation thus this article is PERFECT! His personality is what captivated me, besides his angelic voice of course. Such a humble, kind and positive personality is extremely rare and I believe that his friends are blessed to have him. I remember that Japanese singer Misia said during Singer that Zhou Shen is a national treasure and I cannot agree more, he is truly a world's treasure. Amazing drama. It's 4 am currently and I have just finished it and I am a mess. Characterization is just superb. Mishil and Deokman were just brilliant, I was in awe every time they interacted. Their conversations and the way they both learned something from each other, and the mutual respect...... chef's kiss. Bidam is the most pitiable and saddest character ever. He should have trusted Deokman a bit more, just a bit more but alas his insecurities brought about his demise. I truly couldn't blame Deokman for what happened to him, it was his own doing. I was completely in love with Yushin throughout the whole drama. His sincerity, devotion and love for Deokman was just the most beautiful thing. Also, besides Alcheon, he was the only one who cared honestly for Deokman's feelings. And finally, undoubtedly the best characters were Kodo and Jookbang. I just love them.
I don't know how familiar people here are with the case called "Joe Ferrari" so I'll briefly explain it: Joe "Ferrari" was an insanely rich police chief. He worked in a narcotics suppression unit where he got insanely rich. Now, we can ask ourselves how did he get so rich with an average police salary in Thailand being just over 1000 dollars a month? Well, the answer is right there. A few months ago he suffocated a man who was arrested for selling methamphetamine pills. He put four bags on the man's head and suffocated him to death, inside the police station. Before murdering him, Joe tried to extort a few million bahts from this man. Since Joe has connections to high-ranking officers in Thai police this murder was covered until someone posted videos from the security cameras online and the public found out. Only then was he arrested and prosecuted. Now, how many people like him there are in Thai police and government is the real question. Well, many, many. But Thai law prohibits any questioning, any criticism of the monarchy as well as the government. People are prohibited by the law to say anything negative about the king and the government. This is why this series is so important. They are saying something that is punishable by law!! They are not simply stating their political opinion or social stance. NO, they are telling the truth, and basically by doing that risking getting imprisoned. So, we are not talking about simple 'over-the-top' social criticism, but about the reality in which Thai people live. I understand that some people love fluffy, cute little stories about two people falling in love and having issues, etc. and that this is not their cup of tea, but at least try to understand just how important this series is. It deals with questions that mustn't be asked, and that, in my opinion, are of the highest importance right now. Rich people and government officials in Thailand are so entitled that it's simply unbelievable.
