I can tell you why I like it but it's totally up to you to agree with me or not.
I really like the short flashbacks in the beginning of the ep., the FL is so head strong with everything that as a man I really like her(OK I admit that I find her way to beautiful), the romance between them is one of the sweetest I have seen, so much sugar, all that after ep 14.
But that's only my opinion for the drama, I hope you don't waste your time.

For me it's because of the controversy that came out in Cheese in The Trap that make me don't like him.
For those who don't know, the agency of Kang Joon, director and writer of the drama involved in a controversy to give his character a greater role without the agreement of the webtoon author.

I had no sympathy for him whatsoever, as a male I was so annoyed by his behaviour, how can he pretend that he is his friend is beyond me. This Dude needs professional help to solve his problem.

For the other characters it was understandable but for Sol Yi and manager was unacceptable and I will further to say that I want a kiss scene with them because why not?

Agreed, NJ was a good character and I like her a lot but I don't ship her with Choi Ung, the lead was too good to even think about it.

You said it right in another comment, it's not that I hate them I just don't want them near the FL if they can't take the hint that they don't have a chance. As for the SF, usually they don't give us a chance to like them because they make every SF a bitch.
I have experience only one SLS for a SF, with Kang Sora on Doctor Stranger.

I don't want to bring gender all the time in the discussion but I have to, so bare with me.
We are talking about Kdrama here and mostly about romance drama, so let's face the truth, we are not the target audience for this dramas (as males), the target and the majority of the audience is females. They don't want to make likeable SFL because their audience doesn't care too much about other female in drama (I don't care either about SML in dramas) or when they care they make an unbalance for the story.
One of the reasons I don't like love triangle is exactly that, I don't like that they don't give the same screen time to SFL to have a proper character, she is just there to make FL more likeable, but they give SML so much more screen time.

Maybe it's because I'm male, but i don't ever get SLS. I'm annoyed with the idea of a SL even before I start the drama and as the article said, I'm so annoyed with the good guy persona of every SL.
I try to stay away from love triangle drama, (let's face it this is Kdrama and they love triangles) not because I'm afraid of SLS but because I'm so annoyed by them.

Then just watch until ep11 and then skip 5 minutes before the ending , because that drama is a f@cking mess in between .

I get you my guy, if you want to skip every scene of him just skip it because you will not miss anything. His character doesn't make much sense anyway. He behave like he give up on her for his friend because he saw her first (like 10 minutes before she goes to give the speech on stage) but the reality is he didn't have a chance anyway. Besides his character the drama is very good.

I don't want to argue with you, but people didn't really enjoy Lovestruck in the City and at the end of the day that what it's matter. And I will tell you that I find more relatable the relationship here, in my mind it was somewhat realistic.

It's funny that you said that because from my perspective, I can feel the sincerity of Choi Woong actions towards Ji Woong but not the other way around and it's not only because of his one side crush, the overall feel is like that. To me, it seems more jealous than sincere.

Just an observation from another point of view.

As a male I also find him a little too much childish in the beginning. They make him look like a teenager than an adult. But he improved a lot in the later episodes and that save the drama for me. I don't know if I could continue watching if he was the same.

I know how you feel and I can tell you that there is no love triangle here, only an one side love, but even that is not in the way of the main couple.
