Oh just tell us already about the OTT streaming platform. The suspense is killing me.
According to NamuWiki, it's coming out on Disney+! π (And because Love Scout got postponed, the show's new release date should be Feb. 21st (not 14th).
She won the Grand Prize for her role in Knight Flower at the Korea Drama Awards and Best Actress at the Baeksang…
I get them mixed up all the time too! π She was fantastic indeed but, to be honest, this list is full of amazing performances so, if it were me, I definitely wouldn't be able to choose just one of them! βΊοΈ
Hadn't actress Lee Ha Nee (for her role in Knight Flower) won the Grand Prize last year ? Or was it at another…
She won the Grand Prize for her role in Knight Flower at the Korea Drama Awards and Best Actress at the Baeksang Awards this year. So... if she gets this one too, I guess we won't be too surprised!
I've updated the information so it should come up soon but it's pretty much the story of a police officer and interpreter who come together to solve multinational cases. The goal of the show is to highlight the experiences and struggles of foreign residents in Japan -- and besides the mystery element, they also share meals from all around the world (so it's a mystery + food sort of thing) (:
Is it confirmed that we will get two episodes this week?
I think so! I've just checked MBC's website (https://schedule.imbc.com/?chcode=MBC&date=20241214&m=0&c=0) and the schedule says that Episode 5 is coming out on Friday (Dec 13) and Episode 6 is coming out on Saturday (Dec 14). Han Kang's documentary is airing right before the show so they must've changed the scheduling for next weekend! (Trying very, very hard to contain the excitement here ^^)
[UPDATE: According to Namuwiki, the Han Kang documentary is still happening next Saturday BUT they cancelled the "recap" on December 20th] So the calendar now is: Dec. 13th: Episode 5 Dec. 20th-21st: Episode 6-7 Dec. 27th-28th: Episodes 8-9 Jan. 3rd-4th: Episodes 10-11 Jan. 10th: Episode 12 Right? Let's hope so! * fingers crossed * I'll miss my WtPR peeps T-T (and that means, REWATCH TIME ^^ while counting down the days to next Friday) I hope things calm down in SK soon!
The Korea Times wrote about it today. Apparently, "What sets it apart is the use of AI to write the screenplay and create visuals. According to the production company, Kings Creative, the director initially wrote a rough outline, which was then refined using ChatGPT. The resulting ideas were discussed in meetings before the writer finalized the script. For the visuals, AI tools such as HeyGen, ElevenLabs, and Midjourney were used to generate images." I noticed that there's one week difference between Europe and the UK (so last Friday, episode 6 came out in the UK -- so same as Japan -- and episode 5 came out in mainland Europe). Took me a while to notice the difference T-T I thought we were all behind! If you have a VPN, you should be able to watch it, though! (:
So the calendar now is:
Dec. 13th: Episode 5
Dec. 20th-21st: Episode 6-7
Dec. 27th-28th: Episodes 8-9
Jan. 3rd-4th: Episodes 10-11
Jan. 10th: Episode 12
Right? Let's hope so! * fingers crossed *
