I do understand that they really didn’t get punished but wasn’t DJ main focus not to allow the family get control of the company? So I guess that’s how the writers wanted it to end. And also, I really do understand that we all wanted DJ to be alive by all means accomplishing all those things but even from EP1 he was already dead and he kept saying that no matter how hard he tried he really couldn’t change some things like save HW’s mother, or even stop his own death 🥲 so yeah. Maybe it’s a shitty ending but I’d rather it all ends here cause that’s more than enough. They just wanted us to see DJ’s struggle and what actually resulted to his Death. Wasn’t soeng jun panicking in ep 1 cause he found out his father had killed DJ. So it’ll make sense if they showed us what led to all that. I think it’s fair enough. But it may not justify the ending y’all got.

Also, there are two types of people here lol those who already engaged with the story firsthand before the drama aired and those who only watched the drama. so I’d understand why they’re pissed. Maybe it didn’t end the same way. I for one I’m one of those who only watch the drama so I really wouldn’t know how it played out in the novel.
