so far end of ep.6. a bit complicated about the romance ship. Dan Hwal seem still very care bout his past life wife then Dan Hwal & Min Sang Woon ship kinda look being force here... So far i still cant see how they gonna put DH & MSW together with DH still feeling regret for losing his family and his wife now stay near to him. I hope 1 day i get to see a different type of ship like 1stML with 2ndFL or vice versa and not always 1st lead must end up with 1st lead and 2nd lead with 2nd lead.
for me it is not slow... it is sci-fi survivor genre and of course you have to expect there will be a lot talking & explanation. For example Christopher Nolan's Interstellar same genre need explore space to save earth. 2h50m movie mostly talking but it is masterpiece. The Silent Sea is not really horror space drama like Alien. It is more like finding the truth & answer to survive. I actually like this story than Squid Game & Hellbound and these 3 dramas from Netflix are worth watching and have to appreciate that they atleast try something different from typical kdrama Rom-com or Melo-drama.
The modern Nara is not the Nara that LJW looking for revenge. She is the twin sister of the Nara LJW looking for. The monster that killed elder sister Nara & Mum is not LJW. But modern Nara still carry the soul that LJW transfer to her because of twins. End up those monsters that LJW killed in the past all looking for modern Nara for revenge. LJW instead of killing her end up protecting her because the Nara she looking for revenge already dead. Hence romance slowly build up from here.
Hesitate at 1st due to some comments here give negative review but after 1 week decided to try it due to Kim Hyun Joo is one of my favourite senior actress. Result is it is not that terrible actually. Drama that involve cult will always be annoying so viewer need to prepare for this. Dont worry about sub par CGI bcox the only CGI are the monsters and they only come out 1 per episode for few mins since they not really the main thing that the drama wanted to deliver. Surprisingly there are quite a lot action scene from KHJ, what she trained in KBS's Lady Action 6 year ago can now be used perfectly.
I already sense something not right from the ex story because it is just too one sided and hold too much grudge. But when KSH release his statement and it did not help himself much either. So it is either he really did that or he still wanted to protect the ex. Now with the news release by dispatch (although dispatch is a gossip media but their source actually kind of reliable compare to others) prove that KSH chose the later which is to protect the ex.
I am both happy and sad here... My oh My... KSH... When everything you built with your hard work and all crumble down in 1 day but you still able to keep all these for yourself. He earn my respect on this. But hope he don't hate people around him who decided to tell the truth to dispatch.
No comment on what happen between them when they dating since it is their personal life but what the ex did after the break up and distorting truth to the public almost ended KSH career. That is an act of a crazy b!tch there.
Now comes the happy part. KSH can take this time to rest and I am 100% sure that what happened in the past few days will raise KSH popularity to even higher level in the future.
For quite a long time never really have this kind of explosive action thriller drama. If you like Iris then you would like this as well but without the romance part.
Story quite unpredictable and they manage to make viewers to guess what will happen until the final episode. Not much draggy & boring parts. It is good they make it a 12 episodes drama. Definitely one of the best drama this year.
NGM as usual nailed his character just like his other dramas. Kim Ji Eun did a pretty good job as NGM partner, although some scene her seem a bit stiff acting. Hope after this she get more jobs to improve her acting. Definitely one of an actress to look forward. Park Ha Sun, haha... this character probably the most little screentime for main roles i ever see. Good that they repay it back with spin-off of her character soon. All the supporting roles in this drama are really good.
For real, all the fathers in this drama are complete $hit but the second lead father is really aiming for father…
i got the theory that the current king is not that bad and he may know that his daughter is acting as the crown prince since they 1st met in EP.1. He probably try to make his youngest son to take the throne because only this way his daughter will survive as promise he made to his late wife and the youngest prince doesn't look evil but not his mum. And of course this will not go according to the king plan because if follow manhwa the crown prince will be king in some point.
Another one with love triangle...It has a very good interesting plot, don't destroy it with a love triangle...
i think it will be more than triangle... pretty sure there will be 4 way romance or even 5 ways.. Really hope writer don't destroy it with messy love story. Worry it will be 70% romance & 30% how crown prince deal with palace politic.
The thing i dont get it here is the reason for abortion why KSH need to pay penalty for having a baby? 1st He is an actor not idol where is known for strict rules on dating. 2nd he is not young either. This happen last year when he is 34yo. It is so wrong to become a father at 34 for an actor? I think i have seen a lot of celebrity shotgun marriage in the past. Jun Ji Hyun still korea top earner even after marriage and becoming a mother. What Miss A claimed is indeed very 1 sided and look very salty but KSH didn't really explain much also either still wish to protect the girl or himself. Not really. Except young actress acting , there is nothing else here. One of Kdrama niche is that power dynamics.
I not really into historical drama but 1 thing i notice is most joseon king drama will took 1 to 2 eps for introduction. I watch because of Park Eun Bin and before it start i already know their young characters story will take most of the starting episodes.
