They could've made the app a bigger thing but they purposefully chose not to to focus on the internal journey Jojo was on instead of understanding her own feelings w out the app that is literally the whole point of the spear being a reward not a plot tool While it woulda been sweeter to have more romantic and happy closure for Sunoh again that is not always realistic and they wanted to show that he could grow into a relationship
Just cuz s2 broke the basic drama formula y'all giving it ratings THAT low smh Has more interesting side plots than s1 and it's a more realistic look at relationships than most dramas period
Social issues aside Itaewon is a good drama the acting, OST, cinamatography, and screenplay where all on point there may be some aspects of the story that you didn’t like but it will probably be remembered as one of the best dramas of 2020
