Haha. I'm so torn about her. She's never done anything completely evil, so I don't find myself hating her, but she hasn't done anything that's making me love her either. She's mostly just okay for me. If they do end up redeeming her, and it all takes less than one episode to happen, I won't enjoy that. Needs to be gradual.

Absolutely no idea. Lol. Assuming they're gonna toss in at least one more obstacle to fill 1-2 more episodes. There's still that stalkerish chick that was at the restaurant and airport. Just glad that the hateful mother thing is done. She kept showing up at random times and it just didn't fit with the show at all for me.

I could understand why people would dislike him. I was watching episode 11 earlier and kept thinking to myself, "Wow, this dude is possessive as shit." It's irritating to watch, but he does it in really cute ways, so it's also fun. It's like how Cha Do Hwi is a total ass, yet she does it in absolutely hilarious ways so you partly like her as well.

This is one reason I avoid high school dramas. They'll always have these characters and, more often than not, they'll never get reprimanded for it. Korea is so quick to ban anything with the smallest hint of violence in it, so it's always amazed me that bullying like this is so rampant in popular dramas.

That was the one thing I enjoyed about 'School 2013'. Over time, you saw them grow and change while still having to deal with the consequences of being bullies. In 'Boys Over Flowers', they drive one boy to suicide, and in 'Dream High' and 'To The Beautiful You', you have characters attempting to seriously hurt/kill another character. In one, the harshest bully is the one every single person loves, and in the other two, the main character forgives them almost instantly and it's never talked about again. Those are horrible morals to teach children.

OK, I have yet to see the versions other than the Korean one, and I wasn't overly impressed with it, either, BUT...…
Like you said, it's probably because of the fact that that's the only one you've seen. I haven't seen the Japanese remake so I can't comment on that one, but the other two, unlike TTBY, weren't solely focused on the relationship between the two leads. Everything in TTBY was about them, while the others were all about the relationship between the dorms as a whole. So, while they not be missing in TTBY for some, they're very clearly not there for others who have seen other versions.

Haha. No. Maybe if my name on here and my Tumblr URL were the same. I was the same way. I hit the post limit a few times because of Exo. Now, I think I've only posted a total of 10-20 things in the last 2 months. Lol.

Haha. I recognized your name the first time I saw it. From way~ back when I watched CYHMH. :D

That's the only thing that really made sense to me as I watched it. Dramas are, for me, usually pretty predictable. I have moments where I'm wrong too though, so we'll just have to see. It could just be my Dok Mi/Enrique shipping heart not wanting to see her with anybody else. Lol.

It depends on the show. For popular shows like this one, I watch the previews, because if I don't, I'll see all kinds of spoilers on Tumblr anyway. Next week's episodes look so good already~.
From what I can tell, she was just giving everybody what they liked before she moves. Enrique wants her to leave her house and socialize, so she gave him that. Jin Rak leaves her drawings every day on her milk, so she invited him to an art gallery. At least that's what I get out of it.
As much as I love happy Enrique, it is definitely nice to see him becoming tamer each episode.

I did when it first came out, but it took a long time for subs, so I stopped. I see it's aired about 40 new episodes since then, so I wanted to get back into it, but I can't find any from where I left off. T_T

It is hilarious though. I was eating the first time I watched it, and I almost choked. Lol. You're laughing almost the whole time you watch it.

Yeah, that's also a reason I tend to avoid them. As for this show, I didn't even start it until it was about 50-55 episodes in because I was busy with other shows, so I don't know how long it took for subs. It seems to be moving at an okay pace. 62 episodes on the site right now and 38 of them are subbed. One I run hit a spot where there are no subs, I'm sure it'll seem a lot slower.

Yeah, each new episode is making me a bigger fan of the show. This show alone is totally changing my opinion about Park Shin Hye. I'm not sure how I feel about Cha Do Hwi yet. I dislike her, but I feel like she's needed at the same time to make sure the show doesn't get stale. Yoon Si Yoon and Kim Ji Hoon make it okay though, because they're both just too cute for words in this show.

Nope. I'll have to make sure to do that sometime soon and see if it makes the finale any more satisfying.

I usually tend to avoid longer shows like that because I figure I'll get bored of it halfway through. I love Shinhwa though, and I love Wang Ji Hye, so I figured I'd try. So far, absolutely crazy about it.

Same. Already missing it. I really liked the cast. I had such a soft spot for the bullies almost the whole time. I wasn't a fan of the ending though. I liked the realistic approach that other shows never want to take, but, for me, it left me unsatisfied. Too many questions that I felt needed to be answered.

On the plus side, I can focus more on 'Cheer Up Mr. Kim!' now. Lol. I started 'School 2013' while I was watching it and pretty much neglected it.

Title School 2013 Spoiler
I actually liked the ending because it depicts actual life. In reality, there is no fairy tale ending. Life moves…
Oh, I'm all for a realistic ending. You can only deal with so many happy ones. But there's a way to make it realistic while still being able to feel like you're satisfied. This ending just wasn't able to do that for me.

Did Jung Ho ever do anything with his life? Did his two best friends run a restaurant like they wanted? Did the two leads continue to grow closer? Did Young Woo continue to like poetry after he moved up in classes? Did the girls in that class ever get down from their high horse? I personally feel like they could've answered questions like those while still making the end realistic.

That ending was absolutely unsatisfying. This show was actually enjoyable up until that.

Noted. 16 is usually a good amount of episodes. Anything longer seems to start dragging on more often than not.

Iris was, for me, awesome. I get really bored with the usual K-Drama storylines, so it was a nice change. I suppose City Hunter would be an apt comparison. It was mostly about revenge. A little romance, but it was far from prevalent. It was pretty strong in the first few episodes, then it was almost completely gone.

I always say I'm going to watch that and then end up watching 20 other things instead. Is it good?
I'm usually in between when it comes to who I want the main person to end up with. It's all about the chemistry for me. I just finished 'Iris' a few days ago, and I'm still not sure who I wanted Lee Byung Hun's character to end up with.
On Cheer Up, Mr. Kim! Jan 25, 2013
Finally finding time to start this. Only a few episodes in and I'm already hooked. Already managed to make me laugh and cry.
There's a storyline in there I haven't liked from the first scene that was shown, but it's obviously important to the plot, so I'm dealing with it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Lol. He's such a complete goofball and I'm loving every second of it. It'll be hard to kick Enrique off of the top spot for me though. Yoon Si Yoon has so many facial expressions that he makes, and I can't get enough of them. I imagine this will be the first drama in a long time that'll have me wanting both lead guys to get the girl. T_T
