BIG SPOILER AHEAD: The current Chi Wen is not the real one. The real Chi Wen cannot show himself in the world because he needs to keep the ninth head of Jiu Ying sealed. Long ago, Chi Wen once saved a small fox in the mountains—Ji Ling (yes, our Ji Ling). By accident, the young fox jiling swallowed a dragon scale. Because of this, Chi Wen chose him to temporarily take on the role of a dragon god. And since Ji ling has no power, and can only use the ring artifact, he created a puppet of his own (with the memory of his young self) The memory in the mountain, and past self is really his own.
Also. Lu wuyi, might be the last fragment of Jiu Ying. Wuyi is created as a puppet. Since the first victim of Jiu Ying when she was still a snake is Di Zhu, she considered the face and body of Di Zhu as her final vessel---Creating Lu Wuyi for that purpose.
Y'allll, watching every episode comes with heartache. I need spoiler so bad, If Wu Shiguang is the 10th dragon and brother of Chi Wen, what about the sneaky scene from the last episode where Yuan Wuhuo and Chi wen is brothersssss
His duality in Veil of Shadows is amazing. His acting is well done; he plays his character well. There's success ahead of him. Glad to be part of this journey. Way to go, Jia Rui!!
The cinematography of this drama is a chef's kiss. Especially the soundtracks, and how they portray dark auras. I missed Dilraba in my screen, glad to see her again :)
This drama is keeping me in suspense. No boring episodes. I fear an upcoming plotwist that will throw me off the hook. I just hope they continue this performance all throughout. Also, i missed Joseph, duling, and jingyi in my screen. Keep up the good work
