I explain the ending from about episode 10 onwards to episode 13 in a podcast format. But I do analyse the show…
Oh, I'm so glad! It really takes awhile to really understand because so much goes on and there's so many twists and turns. I wish there were more discussions too, but I think this show was not as well known to the international drama community. Still, I'm so happy that you watched the series and that my talk helped to make sense of the ending for you :)

Anyone has an in-depth analysis of the show? Was confused from ep 11 onwards LOL. Read some from the comments…
I explain the ending from about episode 10 onwards to episode 13 in a podcast format. But I do analyse the show as a whole, talking about actors and themes of the show before I get to the ending. If you just want to hear about the ending only, I probably start explaining about 30 minute into the show: https://open.spotify.com/episode/5gC7L4b9GItp04w0hpXUvI

I'm going to start watching this today. I'm wondering though, why is the rating only at 8.1? The comments & the…
I love Someday or One Day and it remains my all time favourite Taiwanese drama, but I don't think it's fair to compare the 2 series as Rainless Love really tackles a lot of interesting themes later on and is beautiful in its own way. The first few episodes take some getting use to, but the story is quite interesting and thoughtful and will be such a brain teaser later on.

@DeadPonyRainbows I'll put it in a spoiler as it might ruin it for someone to know whether it's a happy ending…
Happy ending. Finished nicely, all things tied up, except for one twist, but it's not an open ending. The twist is just a surprise, that's all.

can anyone tell me if it had a happy ending? was it nicely finished or open ended? no spoilers please!!!!
@DeadPonyRainbows I'll put it in a spoiler as it might ruin it for someone to know whether it's a happy ending or not...But I won't give you the ending details. It's quite complicated anyway!

I think I'm in love with Fu Meng Bo... Gonna watch more of his work and cry
Oh me too! He's just so attractive. I've already started watching some of his movies and he does tragic so well. Actually, Fu Meng Bo and Alice Ke were in a film called 'Your Love Song' as love interests around the time Someday or One Day finished. I'm looking forward to seeing it since I love them both. Also makes me laugh since they always called Toem 'Orad's Ex'.

hi! do you know the details of the livestream? like the day/hour :)
The Live is starting now! It's a Facebook Live - if you go on their facebook page 無神之地不下雨 you should be able to join!
On Rainless Love in a Godless Land Jan 7, 2022
For those who liked the actors in Rainless Love in a Godless Land, they'll be having a Livestream for their book signing event tomorrow at Eslite Taipei - the main cast will be hanging out together and siging books for 100 fans. I suspect there's a bit of a media interview as well. Not sure if it's Instagram or Facebook, but I'm sure it'll show on one of those. Taiwanese actors work so hard and I love the number of events they hold for each drama - even if the series is only 13 episodes long. I feel like they might possibly do more fan service than Chinese or Korean dramas do.

Can you spoil me the ending? Thanks
Hahaha fair enough. I rarely ever binge and prefer the live watch, so I can imagine that to be super exhausting!

He caught the falling glass of water with magic as he would have done as Orad. It wasn't faked either as he tried to hide the fact that he did that from Tian Di. So he's likely to still have his powers while the other Gods have been converted into humans in the new timeline/reality.

This is one of those drama where the ML is not that "appealing in the eye", but as the story unfolds, and you…
I feel like the ML is pretty good looking, but doesn't have a conventional Asian idol look we're more use to (which is often fair and slight with sharper profile features). He seems more of the manlier, built and slightly rugged look, which is good looking in a different way - To be honest, he's been a model for many years and has been in over 30 brand CF/commercials in Taiwan. But I agree that his strong acting abilities and the dreamy character of Orad added to his charm.

why is it not available in dramacool or other similar sites?
It's also on Kissasian. You'll need to type in the full name of the drama

Can you spoil me the ending? Thanks
A happy endin g - the timeline resets from an earlier point in the story and Tian Di meets a human version of Orad (Li Ying Chen) and they're living happily as a couple. But the twist in the last moment is that Li Ying Chen is not so human after all, haha...

How's the romance any breakup or love triangle ?
No love triangles or break-ups per say, unless you count an unrequited love. But it's a drama where the love is a deep longing and can't happen until something is resolved. This story is quite romantic, but it depends on how you like your romance. If you like romance to be about lots of kissing, gifts, pet nicknames, going on dates...this isn't the romance for you. But if you like romances where the love is about protecting someone at all costs, caring for them deeply, a forbidden love with lots of longing, a love story that defies time and space, then this is the romance for you.

you ever been so down bad for your ex you literally fabricate time and space???? lmaooo
This is so true. Someday or One day broke my soul, but in a good way. I feel like they pull of bittersweetness incredibly well, but maybe that's because they've established such a strong love between the main characters that defies lifetimes and realities. It's like no matter how far the characters get pulled apart, they will find each other in time loops or alternative realities.

If you think that ep 11 was spectacular, I don't even know how to describe ep 12. It's just amazing. This show…
I totally agree. I actually wasn't a fan of Goblin. I didn't think the storyline was that deep or meaningful and I could never understand why the Goblin was being punished for one thing he did centuries ago (when you think of how many people commit worse crimes and murders in the world)...but Rainless Love in a Godless Land has so many layers of depth for the characters and they're struggling to understand their own actions, whether they have control over their lives or everything is just predestined fate.

hows the story and hows the romance?
The story is deep and thoughtful and has many layers to reflect on. It takes a few episodes to get into it, but once you do, it's fun to follow.

Orad is Kakarayan?? Then who is the one talking to Toem and Tian Di about Himself (Grey Tsu) being powerless??
I feel like Orad is like a part of Kakarayan, an avatar rather than his own person and a messenger...I guess my easiest explaination is a bit like how Jesus is son of God, but also part of the holy trinity. He seems to have a similar role rather than just being a messenger angel and his own being, which is what he initially thought he was.
