Cousin Humping was allowed in ancient China and majority of East Asia !
Yes, it was common in Asia for aristocrats and royal to marry someone from the same blood to keep the purity of their clan. I thought chinese tv production banned it for years now
That spoiled psycho princess will be in for a shock since she had no clue the man she had eye for is her own cousin who has a higher ranking despite his circumstances and possibly will held his words in killing her in humiliated way
This is a drama based from the japanese manga then adapt to anime, Tales of Saiunkoku. Deng Wei plays the antagonist…
I have no clue if the chinese audience will be impressed or self rightness over DW character once his motives and his personality are revealed. There is not a lot of villains who are their fan favorite due to their bias
Oh Yeah! The OG author admitted the radio drama was her favorite adaptation. I like that TTJ had shown more emotions in this format since it voiced more details than the book
Thank you! I love the extra scenes the format added to the story. My all time was during the tower scene, Gouryu finally talked to TTJ, which wasn't in the book, before disappearing for good. Next would TTJ finally defend YXW from YBC as she was tortured by snakes and left while she pleaded to not leave her alone

DW character was a beloved villain in Japan. Fans enjoyed his twisted seductions tactics to whoo in the FL to marrying him. The FL did have feelings for him even though she is aware he is a murderous sociopath.
Can someone explain what kind of character Deng Wei will play in this drama?
This is a drama based from the japanese manga then adapt to anime, Tales of Saiunkoku. Deng Wei plays the antagonist Zheng Shi, who is Sa Sakujun in the OG. I have no clue how much they will kept his personality but Sakujun was sadistic, manipulative, narcissist who cared nothing but himself. Later, the FL became the only person he loved aside himself. Despite his horrible deeds, he really did loved her
Yes, our guy Deng Wei has come a long way. Looking forward to seeing more dramas from him!
Glad he is take some time of after his hard work in this drama. Actors and Actresses should remember they are human beings. Not dolls or tolls for the entertainments or pleasure for the media. I hope the mainstream wake up from the harshness it has given to its artists after LuSi mental trauma
I am amazed how both actors had progress in this role. DW first time as the Lead showed how much he shined as Su Yi Shui in his struggle to make amends and fight his fate as the devil child. Zhang Rui also deserved a praise since this is his 1st villain role as a grieving yet selfish manipulative Ye Xin / Dun Tian.
I love Greek mythology! Hercules is one of my fav. And yea, some Greek Gods are better behaved than the sects🤭❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
why they don't do this kind of rivalry. I wanted to see Susu & SiYing have this kind of rivalry and TTJ experienced for the 1st time the women wrath or catfight https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YwjPOpoFf5M
Yes, Looking back made me miss Kevin Smith AKA Ares. Ryan Gosling was the perfect annoying little brother in his portrayal as Hercules which I like in their sibling rivalry
