It's flexible though. 20+ is not happening in any other channel. For example, CH3 normally does 12-16.

It's not really romance-based. They don't really focus on a romance aspect but they have pretty good slow burn (I'm on ep 11). It depends but imo they play their parts well.

I never heard of it though. GMMTV, Nadao or even CH3 these days (a primetime one) all use a new script. And I believe all BLs are not a remake one lol. Doing an adaptation has it perks for an already established audience and wouldn't take long for a screenwriter. Especially a daily drama one that wouldn't be that worth it to use a new plot in every single one of them.
