Both parties failed to post their financial statements online as required by the Ministry of Finance, hiding that relationship. And they tried to say that Li Xuezheng and people who are trying to find justice in ZZH’s case is trying to whitewash a corrupted artist.
What is even more frightening was that after Mr. Li pointed out that a book published by the China Tourism Publishing house recommending Yasukuni Shrine as a tourist spot in Tokyo, and question who should be responsible for citizens who go visit there and now being called traitor of China, who will pay for all the defamation and financial loss.
The next day, netizens reported that they can’t find the book anywhere online anymore. A book that was around for 20 years basically got off the shelves overnight.
The pattern is clear : mute or even remove Jellyfish's social media accounts , then counterattack with media power.
6th Jan:
• Weibo mute or directly remove accounts with nicknames containing words that ZZH fans love, such as ‘Zhe’, ‘Han'，'crazy','511','zzh','gardenia','Xu'. (P1P2, warning in Chinese Jellyfish fandom )
7th Jan:
• Peipai News, a media which is known for making rumors and found financially related to CAPA ,published an article. The title is ‘ Whitewashing Immoral Artist, National Emotions do not allow it!”, trying to pin the ‘immoral artist’ on Zhang Zhehan and also to threaten Mr.Li. The article again repeats the rumors：’Zhang Zhehan entered the inner part of the shrine...’ (P3)
• Then we saw CAPA’s media matrix working again (P4 , list of media reproducing Pengpai News article).
• Guangming Daily pubished an article with title ‘Boycott the immoral artists, maintain a clean environment for the industry’. It again mentioned the CAPA ban list with Zhang Zhehan’s name. On Guangming Daily , only this article doesn’t show the author’s real name. (P5)
• Official Weibo account of Mnistry of Culture and Tourism ( which is the authority supervising CAPA) forwarded this Guangming Daily article. The forwarding was conducted on a cellphone, which does not conform to the standard workflow of government (P6).
It seems that CAPA and its accomplices are crazy. But the more they do, the more they expose.

It is not easy for his international fans to keep up-to-date on what’s going on.
I’d recommend joining or following the FB group “Zhang Zhehan International Jellyfish” to get the latest news from Chinese fans (they pass on the news to i-fan). There is another group just pop up on FB too, “Justice for people”…that group focuses on the legality surrounding ZZH case.
As we said in the previous video, Chinese Association of Performing Arts calling for a boycott didn't end on excluding Zhang Zhehan from the entertainment industry. This cross-industry ban led to a lot of severe implications. A chinese blogger in a video posted to Weibo listed the most visible consequences of CAPA's actions:
1) His name is prohibited across the chinese Internet 2) His image, videos, voice are banned on any chinese websites 3) His and his family personal safety is being endangered 4) His and his family employment rights are being violated 5) His rights to speak up are taken from him 6) He is presented as a bad example for students in schools 7) He is experiencing online and offline "social death"
Taking all this into account, it wouldn't be an exagerration to say that Zhang Zhehan is being depraved of apossibilty to even live an ordinary citizen life. In the next post we will elaborate more on this topic.
