The part where he said he was on time this time it's because in episode 1 Sayaka and Akiyama met in the same way as in episode 10. But, in episode 1, Akiyama was able to see Sayaka but he couldn't catch her because she was in a hurry and they didn't really meet. So this time in Episode 10 they met.
Watch episode 1 again and you'll understand ♥
