I like both equally (I might even like this one slightly more tbh but we'll see when it finishes airing)!! I honestly…
You don't have to since both seasons are not really connected. But I do recommend you to watch season 1, seriously, it is one of the best Chinese historical dramas I have ever watched! Season 1 was GREAT, but I think season 2 is slightly better: probably because of the romance we get to see in season 2 ^^
1stly I have put this drama in the top3, and I think all three are equally deserve of #1... Well for me I would…
You should definitely watch 1 Litre of Tears! Just as sad or even sadder than Oh My GeumBi. Both are without a doubt inspiring, heartbreaking, and will leave you crying rivers T.T
Nirvana in Fire has completely spoilt me for other dramas, especially historical ones. After years of watching…
Couldn't agree more! I still have four episodes to watch, but I can without a doubt say that this is the best historical c-drama I have ever watched, and I am sure I won't be able to find one nearly as good as Nirvana in Fire. As you have said, from episode 30 onwards I have watched at least four episodes a day and craved for more, but had no time. Definitely worth the watch!
Well I don't have anything against Ji Dwi it's just that I love them both but if I were to pick I'd…
Unfortunately, I think it is much easier for the officials to manipulate or take advantage of Sun Woo, if he was to become king. His love for Ah Ro is the reason why the Queen could use him at her disposal and I'm sure that once Sun Woo becomes king the others could easily turn him into a puppet king, which is why I prefer Ji Dwi to take the throne. Of course, Ji Dwi, too loves Ah Ro but he did say that he would shoulder any regrets alone, which I believe means that he is willing to sacrifice this love and walk this lonely path by himself.
As Marys already mentioned, both have been through a lot, and both have the same goal, creating a Silla in which the people do not worry about the king, but the king worries about his people.
So I think that both deserve the throne ^^
While I love intelligent dramas that actually have a plot, I still need my dose of romance, especially in longer…
So far I've only watched 15 episodes and the romance is close to none. I don't think there will be any love triangle, with so much political plotline to cover, the romance is very understated in this drama. Still, the romance we do get is very poignant and sweet. This drama will keep you on your feet, I have literally never been this engrossed by political intrigue! So far it is worth the watch ^^
Kissasian has all the episodes subbed:)
It is subbed here, but haven't checked it out yet. Unfortunately, according to some comments the subbing is horrible >.<
