Well, have you seen how they've treated their non-asian shows? They simply cancel it if there's not enough people…
It's not just Korean television , it's happening everywhere. This is the future just like earlier we didn't have cable channels just few state owned ones, now you have like 200 channels to chose from, in a same way you can't avoid this ,good or bad. And there were already other pre existing online streaming services before Netflix such as hulu and HBO go . Even disney has launched it's own streaming service in US and europe . It is gonna happen, no matter what . Netflix is not destroying Korean format, Korean shows are just moving along with time, which is not exactly a bad thing.

You make it sound much worse than it actually is. What I interpreted from you is , Netflix is gonna destroy current kdrama format . It's not like Netflix is forcing these shows or production houses to collaborate with them, it's their own choice . In the end of the day , Netflix is pouring their money into these shows , obviously they'd want to discontinue shows which aren't profitable, that's how industry works. And because of Netflix money, the quality of kdarama such as vagabond, stranger and my country is so damn awesome not just with the cinematography but story vice too (love alarm is an exception).
I'd rather savour a show for long time with multiple seasons rather than watching forced ending.
Woah ! That was some epic last episode with savage character development. Totally digged how they promoted Cha Dal Geon into this mercenary role. The way they ended it, I'm pretty sure , there is going to be another season after this which I was anticipating for. I just hope, we don't have to wait long for it .
Drama was alright but one thing I couldn't cross out of my mind , Lee Elijah is way underrated , both acting and looks vice . I mean , she's way too good looking and refined in this series.
It's pretty irritating, watching this series. Most of the time police is going around in the loop, only to figure out facts that most of the family already knew about it but chose to stay silent. The female lead mostly seems like a pushover , who keeps crying half the time doing her own stupid investigation instead of telling police (ML) all the facts. The female detective is overbearingly hyperactive and loud, which looks unnatural and pretty annoying.
Only sane looking character is the male lead. There's nothing exceptional about him, but other idiots around him, make him look normal and better.
I'll decide how I feel about this series , when it finally ends. Till now, I'm just barely tolerating it .
This series just felt natural. There was no over romanticized scenario, no bulshit love triangles, no tacky scenes . It was absolute pleasure to watch the series. The chemistry bw male and female lead felt so effortlessly regular and yet extraordinary, so that you can actually relate to what's going inside their mind and how they communicated and overcame the difficulties. Other female leads were amazing too. I'm big time fan of Lee da-hee , so it was very refreshing to watch her carry such strong role and yet showing her sensitive fangirl side. You should definitely watch this series .
Well, even after first episode it was obvious, that FL isn't romantically in love with Soo. It was more like brother…
You seem to have profound knowledge when it comes to kdrama's . And , in the end of the day , everything is subjective. Thanks for taking out the time to answer my frustration and questions :)

You seem to have profound knowledge of karana. Thank you for the insight. In the end of the day, everything is subjective. Me not liking it doesn't specifically bad. Thanks for taking out the the time and patience to answer my frustration and question . :)

I'm pretty new to Korean drama's , so I'm not much aware of the terminologies. There's too much space left to viewer's assumption because writers didn't give much space for their relationship to develop compared to the other guy who got like 9 episode ,so most of it is based on what you deducted , from 1 episode and why did she agree to marry him then in first place ?? I'm pretty simple minded when it comes to these thing, I see a good guy lead and female lead, I want them to end up together. PS: your english is perfectly fine :)
i really invest to lee soo's story more his journey to become a wish and powerful king i really want to see his…
My point exactly. There was so much space for character to grow and become a strong character instead they started another parallel romance with another guy. And given from episode 10 ending , they are gonna turn nice guy into the bad guy .
This whole series seems way off. It started with really nice guy (who I hoped to be main lead) ,who really loved this girl and would do anything to marry her but couldn't because he becomes a king . Now , they've started another parallel romance between the same girl and different guy he (nice guy) asked to help him marry the girl. Can't watch any further than this .

PS: Suzy is soo damn hot in the ending.
